http://ameblo.jp/lee-tadanari/ I have a peek at this every now and again. I can't speak a word of Japanese, but enjoy Google's attempts at translating. Here's what Chung's latest entry came out as: "I think up motivation also be encouragement I am also look-listen time, the encouragement and messages of support made by handmade in the stadium, and! "And then I'm going to he minutes of the support of them." (^ ^) there supporters There is a team player, I think the relationship between players and people who support you (cheer), and they aer a great relationship and grow together, I think a very important present them to mutually respect each other. Again, though I think I always thought they got to follow, we hope to become a vegetarian as a football player like echoes in the hearts of many people through football than ever before. Thank you also to everyone who rushed to support them, including ☆ Tadanari Lee"
Cheers Beanpole, and good effort Google translator. Reading that, I thought I was on the cusp of understanding it in detail several times, and then it fell away. As I understand it, he's said that he's motivated and encouraged [good start, eh..? ] and learning, and he appreciated the placards made by the Japanese contingent of supporters. He wants the fans and players to further appreciate and respect each other, and grow closer. Thanks to everyone who supports us. I've left the vegetarian footballer bit alone as I can't make head or tails of it.
My translation: thanks for supporting me. Vegetarian footballer is a mystery, unless Adkins has read yet another book and banned meat.
Loved the bit on LKO where they put imaginary words into Tadanari's head as he ran forward: Where is everybody? Oh good, there's Adam.
That whole passage was like a picture by Maurits Escher, you know what I mean, one of those staircases which go upwards all the time.
Cheers for the link, I think I love him even more!! Nice blog and well written, love his pictures!! Especially the one at the supermarket. P.S Ryo Miyachi looks about 10.
Love this kind of thing, brilliant. On the subject of translations, I was on the island of La Palma in the Canaries once, which is facinating, and quite beautiful. The translations for some of the deserts in one particular restaurant was quite inspired. For example. One of the deserts was called 'exploding hand grenade with fragmants of cream' another was called 'it treats you well'. I just wish I took a photo of the menu, as there were other gems!
I love this guy. He takes pictures like a tourist and so random...who posts pictures of bathroom with toiletries.
Haha love this guy! Did anyone else see on saturday when he was substituted he did a little bow on the touchline? Or his skipping rope celebrations after we won the leeds game on sky? So funny! I hope he becomes a saints legend.
Favourite comment I've found so far... at least he's picked up that its best down South!! "Has returned to Southampton from Birmingham. . Was falling snow it was very cold as hell. . Central and northern part of England Yappa is tough (゚ o ゚;; Southampton in southern England. The snow was good region rarely seems no rain, sunny days often climate. Was good true (.-_-.)"
