I still think we need to get to 43 points, so 2 more wins needed to be sure of safety I reckon.

I agree, think 43 pts should do it this year.

I'll have a <ale> of whatever your'e drinking. effine ell. I think that's too close for comfort mate. 43 I think, would do it with our goal difference being way better than all those below us. Bloddy TENTH and we are still not safe.

Must be a while since it was this tight, if ever?

  6. I have been saying on 606 that we need 43 points so for me the win last week against Newcastle was absolutley critical. So as above, 2 more wins and our goal difference will IMHO do it. I hope that we get one of the points against ChelSki on Saturday and then we will be able to breathe a little more easily. I gave my predictions for the remaining games which added to 10 points. Perhaps a little too optimistic but hey I am somewhat biased!

Cant see the third from bottom team getting more than 38 points ...
that BBC prem league accumulator really does put the fixtures into text..
but i suppose in reality anything can happen ...
We will be fine the cup run has actually worked in our favour .. confidence throo the roof it seems .. and why should nt it be .
We are a decent team and should finish mid table even thou we have some testers before the end o the season
    Happy days fellas :p

Just a quick question. Which team were bottom at Christmas? Not a trivia question I genuinely want to know.

Cheers Waddo. Just asking as only 1 team (Baggies I think) have been bottom at Christmas and stayed up in the Premier League I believe, and West Ham have got a good chance of staying up, despite having a very tough run in.
