Let me get this straight, you want a manager out who has got you promoted, doing so rocketed attendances (dramatically), be a mid-table club, got you into a cup final and got you's into a knockout stage in a European competition?

Okay, carry on.

 

Seriously though it's all about results with me at the end of the day and if my club were getting them, then yes I would pay.

 

I tend to think that people prefer three point regardless of the quality of performances while the team establish themselves in the Prem and then they want to see some flair and more sophisticated football... maybe Pulis' time is up with Stoke and fans want something different. O'Neill's style of counter-attacking football isn't to everyone's taste although I find it exhillerating to see a really fast counter-attack... I expect that to be modified once he gets to bring his own players in but I would take that style and 3 points over, for example, Swansea's 65% possession but doing frig-all with the ball for 90% of their possession.

The biggest gripe I had against Pulis as few weeks back was the blatent way he cleared your goalmouth of snow at half time but not ours... if he'd been my manager I would have been embarrassed at that and it's that sort of behaviour that gets a club a tarnished reputation.I think Stoke are a better club than Pulis is making them and I reckon there's lot of Stokies also feel that. Trouble is who would you bring in? Good managers are rare as hens teeth unless you're a glamour club or one of the nouveau riche.

i think Pulis having a go at Meyler has left a bit of wound that has not healed with some people.

when posession is always 70% for the other team and the only way to score is long throws and corners would you enjoy payin £35 a game to watch that?. Football is about entertainment and when I watch stoke under Pulis I dont feel entertained and I dont care what the result is. How we play is a disgrace to the prem.

 

I guarantee you wouldnt be saying that after 4 years of watching us hoof it!!!

Some Stokies need too step back & realise what the **** is going on.

Yes we are playing ****ing awfull football, but we are still in the Prem after 4 ****ing years( going on 5), we played ****ing awfull football when were in div 2 & 3, but i'd tell you what i'd rather be watching, the ****ing awfull football in the prem.

Seems like some stokies are turning into ****ing arsenal fans, claiming they want to see some tippy tappy ****, that is beautiful too watch (apparently), when we first came up it was all blood & thunder, did you ****ing moan then? Did you bollocks, because that was Stoke in the prem, we needed too survive & we did.

Now after 3-4 years, you are all moaning your bollocks off because we dont play certain players, or players out of position & we need to expand our football.

Well get a ****ing grip, this is Stoke City under Pulis ( you know the guy that got us here, kept us here & will keep us here as long as he is manager of SCFC ), playing exactly how we have played since he took over.

If you do not like the football we are playing (exactly the same for ****ing ages), then basically **** off & support another team, because SCFC do not need you

I LOVE Stoke I do NOT have to like Pulis. And, I did take your'e advice re if I don't like the football don't go. Which is why after 51 yrs and counting I do not travel to away games. It's awful and good for you if you are paying to support the team away from home.

I do however have my season ticket for next season, where I HOPE to see our better player's playing every week when fit. Which is NOT the case at the minute is it?

RESPECT your'e comments as always. I did enjoy the first 2+ season's in the Prem Huthy. As for this season no I'm not enjoying listening too us defend for 90 odd mins away from home. IMO the Europa did not help us, but T.P. changes that team more often than he should. Just my oppinion though. He is the Manager so for now I'll grin and bear it. If we all agreed all of the time, what a dull and boring world this would be eh!
