It always worries me when the first thing a person says about a player is that 'he works hard'. That is basically a mask for the fact that they have a lack of ability. I like McLean, he seems like a decent bloke and he's not the worst player I have ever seen (does anybody remember Kyle Lightbourne's brief and horrendous loan spell?) but that scissor kick was just mental. He did not need to do it, and as a professional footballer, he should know better.
A hard earned and well deserved point for us today! I would have been happy to take that before kick off. Just one thing, your pitch is a ****ing disgrace!
We do. We really do. I'm not going to be one of those pessimistic people that turns up to City games every week just to shout at the players; but when Brady came into the starting line up today he was a breath of fresh air! We need one or two new recruits (a striker and a winger) if this is possible on loan... and with the possibility of signing them in the summer if possible. Speaking of going nowhere... how many people have got their Leicester away tickets, I applied for mine the day the form came out and haven't got it yet.
I completely agree it is, the main problem is we are one of the best passing sides in the division, and it affects us far more than the opposition. On King, i just don't see what he offers, he runs with the ball the same as Stewart then gives it away. He has never scored nor assisted in professional football, i suppose i think its too much of a gamble at least with Stewart we have seen he can do it even if his confidence is shot.
listened to it on the radio here in Israel. Stupid Burnsie said just before the penalty, we were looking good. I blame him totally in this case and no-one else
King = Manucho . Saw him when he was on loan at Preston, couldnt believe he was a man united player as he looked clueless. Go on Nick send him back and get a decent GOALSCORER on loan.
Good job for you that football does not follow the cricket line, and dock you points for having an unfit pitch, you would be fighting relegation now.
Unfit pitch Let's not go over the top. There's some bad patches in the middle where there's very little grass, but most of it is ok. Your forgeting we've just had a very bad cold spell over the winter.
Is Nick just towing the party line then when trotting out the 'We don't need to strengthen bollocks'? We/Nick were told money was available for team strengthening, yet he has done nothing during the window, and the emergency window shuts in 11 days. We are in desperate need of another CF and an option off the bench that can change a game. Look at the difference Bowyer made coming off the Tractor boys bench!
Unless you include the Carling Cup. He did a good job when he came on yesterday, he did more in ten minutes than Cam did in eighty, it might be a gamble playing him, but we've little to lose at the moment, nothing is going right for poor Stewart.
agreed. thank god 4 of the next 5 games are away. Proper support for the lads away from the KC neg heads.
haha, when people talk about players who work hard, I always think back to when girls tried to set you up with their mates. If they started with 'well they've got a great personality' it was almost a guarantee she would be about 20 stone.
