Sadly, I think we're down now. We're just falling short each time. We didn't do badly today at times, but it was Bolton that were passing to feet most of the game. Their defence looked shaky though and we didn't take advantage of it. If we do go down, Barton and SWP are out imo - great disappointments. We need our manager to find bright, young talent - not overpaid journeymen Diakite looks a liability at times which will continue to cost us - keep, but teach the lad some discipline Hill and Derry are where we've been, not where we're going Realistically the board will be looking ahead to next season in the Championship now. In a strange way it takes some pressure off the final matches. We have nothing to lose - we'll go for it and see what happens. Feeling really flat right now
Barton never gave a sh*t and Phillips IS sh*t. We'll be in the Ch'ship next season, no doubt, but thankfully we won't have to suffer the likes of scum-bag Joey and the rest of the useless twats.
I thought we were down a few weeks ago to be honest but im looking forward to the championship again next season. If we start preparing now and our owners stay loyal i see no reason why we cant bounce straight back up. Need to keep steady players like Mackie, Ephraim, Paddy, Derry who always give 100 per cent and find a couple of decent strikers Zamora and Cisse if they want to stay etc. Despite the gloom at the moment think we will bounce back
People with glass houses... Youre more hormonal than a pregnant women, your constant hissy fits are hilarious. Every home game for me is an away game involving lots of travel, you dont go to away games, youre a hypocrite.
Weve perfected the art of losing games by a single goal, we deserve to go down and need a massive rebuild. No more signing players on £50+k, especially for the likes of Zamora, Barton, SWP who arent even the best in their position at the club.
Sorry flyer are you trying to suggest bothroyd or macheda might be better than Zamora? that's just laughable, Zamora and Cisse together up front is without a doubt our best forward line.
My last words on this..... You said that you were going to stop supporting QPR and go and support someone else. I said that we don't need supporters like that. You said I'm not a proper fan as I don't go to away games. You said every home game is like an away game for you and, as I don't go to away games, I'm a hypocrite. That is simply the biggest load of bollocks you've ever written and let's face it....you've written plenty of bollocks! Did you not say that you were going to support someone else? Why are you still here in that case? Anyway....I'm outta here!!
I think you'll find Barton & SWP are on contracts that no PL club will want to match, especially the way they've played. I read somewhere that there is no relegation clause in those contracts so we'll have to put up with them if we do go down...
Am old enough to remember the same sinking feeling when we first got promoted with the Morgan twins. Disaster after disaster leading to a humiliating relegation. At least back in those days there wasn't the financial closed shop there is today. Got a very bad feeling about this.
No, i said Im going to stop going to games which are hours away from me, something you do already. Hypocrite.
Traore mentioned there are relegation wage cuts. We are stuck with Cisse, SWP, Barton and Zamora. Youll find from the very start I never wanted old players signed. I said we should sign Rhodes instead of Zamora. If they were Traores age, someone would take a gamble but youd have to be an idiot to buy any of them with the exception of Cisse.
Im gutted to say it, but we are down. I said this quite a few weeks ago, as we had just not gained enough points from the run of 7 winable ones. All the points we have dropped have cost us, and right from the games versus the likes of West Brom where we conceded a late equaliser I said it would cost us. Unfortunatley it has, and it is gutting. Far to many players havent performed, and our solid defence from last year has been ripped to pieces this year.
Actually im quite looking forward to next year in the championship. If the owners stay loyal i think we will be challenging for promotion and exciting times will return. At least tickets will be cheaper and easier to get than this year and more games to watch.
I jsut hope that we can mount a challenge to get back up. I am afraid that we would just sink back into a mid table team for years. I hope im just being worried over nothing, but rangers dont do many good seasons!
I watched on TV today but went to the Fulham game and thought we were down after that. There's not a lot of sympathy for us out there though most non-qpr comments seem to be revelling in Hughes and Zamora getting relegated rather than the club's demise. Its been such a weird season I still don't know what to feel, though I don't think we're going to do a Hull or a Portsmouth because the Mittals/Bhatia don't need to asset strip the club just to try and cover their losses - and they seem to value their good name with the fans. Still depressing though.
I understand everyone's doom and gloom attitude, but seriously hope the team don't feel like that. There's a long way to go yet and I expect us to fight to the death.
Dave,I love your optimism, but honestly,if you had been there today we awful. We are going down and I a not being fickle
