Culty, leave it to them to sort out. It has been strange though. Neither set of supporters appears to feel too confident about the result and that has set a somewhat reserved tone to the thread. However, apart from a few exceptions, it's good to see that the rapport between our fans set during the threads at the start of the season continues
Oh dear and not very educated either. Will you be out thieving while your mates are up watching the match, or will you just be out chasing more 80 year old women to molest?
We've had some good threads this season with opposing fans and it's great to have some sensible footie discussion and a bit of good humoured banter. There's always someone however, who wants to drag it down to gutter level with a load of pointless drivel. Christ knows what they're like in real life.
Why is it that 95% of us in this thread are actually talking sensibly about the game, and then this guy ^ turns up spouting all this rubbish from nowhere? Nobody even said anything to make him start with it! Is he always like this? Anyway, to the game: To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if Sunderland nicked this one by a goal. Could be quite a boring 1-0. Either team could win it quite easily, so with that in mind I'll predict a 1-1 draw, same as the opening day.
CestriaO'neill just comes off as desperate to fit in and be accepted. He wants to show everyone that he's the biggest Sunderland fan going because he "hates" Newcastle and anyone Sunderland are playing. Quite embarrassing to see a grown man act this way. Think we should just pity him to be honest.
So many loonies on the internet mate, I'm pretty sure its just loads of weirdos compensating for their meekness in real life by creating an aggressive internet persona.
We wont miss Sess and Catts as some people make out imo. We have the depth in squad for us to cope. Liverpool have strggled to convert chances all season, and our defence is pretty solid so I'll go for a win to us. 1-0.
Anybody seen Billy? Wonder if he's gone to Sunderland or if he's finally had to take the Mrs shopping?
This is the team apparantley: reina; kelly coates skrtel enrique; spearing adam henderson; kuyt suarez bellamy That's the best we could've hoped for if Gerrard and Johnson are still out. Will still be a tough game but I think we'll nick it 2-1.
Liverpool Team To Face Sunderland. Reina, Kelly, Coates, Skrtel, Enrique, Adam, Spearing, Henderson, Bellamy, Kuyt, Suarez. SUBS: Doni, Gerrard, Carragher, Carroll, Maxi, Downing, Flanagan. Source: http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/latest-news/bellamy-starts-listen-live-3 Coates starts with Skrtel at centre-back. Henderson starts against his hometown club whilst Bellamy also gets a starting place.
a bit manic there Berb, getting a little too much enjoyment after your footballing lesson on thursday
The only negative is Adam still being favoured. Jocks sticking together! I'd have given maxi a run-out, but delighted with the team otherwise!
If Gerrard isn't fit enough to start then Adam's not really being favoured over anyone except maybe Shelvey. I'm pretty pleased with the team, Sunderland won't give us much time on the ball but with this team (especially the front three) we'll close them down at every opportunity. I can't see there being much flowing football in this game but I can see us carving out more chances than they do. Unfortunately that doesn't guarantee us anything this season. Sunderland team is: Mignolet, Bardsley, Bridge, Turner, O'Shea ©, Larsson, McClean, Colback, Gardner, Campbell, Bendtner.
