Thanks for putting this altogether TopClass, your work has certainly been worth the effort! Quite a few contrasting opinions so we should have a few winners there amongst us! As per most preview evenings I also have a banker and a blowout which are as follows: Banker- Avoiding the real shorties I can't get away from Boston Bob in Albert Bartlett. I backed him with WH on Tuesday morning at 9-2 though his price has somewhat lost it's value now, so I would suggest people to wait until the day to back him. The vibes from what I've heard from the preview nights is that this is Mr Mullins standout novice and they don't think he'll be beat. Thankfully, unlike a few other novices, any hype about him is substantiated in his form lines! One general thing I would advise now is for people to hold fire on their bets until the day as bookmakers are sure to be lengthening horsrs prices across the board. Lay- Zarkander has been most people's idea to upset the Hurricane Fly applecart but I can see him not even placing in this. The Champion Hurdle course is tighter than the Triumph course and I don't see him having the speed to cope with it and the opposition, in a month of Sundays. I note this morning my friends in WH are also in agreement with me seeing as they are offering 8-1 on him, which is more reflective of his (slim) chances in my book.
A really good read. Thanks for doing this everyone and TC for pulling it together. Nass is my hero - to the point, slightly cynical and has no interest in the flat race.
A really good read lads.... Enjoyed it. Well done all to contributing and Toppy for putting this together would be interested to do something similar on the flat. Best of luck all..
What a load of bloody tosh............seriously though good effort guys and all round for the contributors and Toppy for taking the time and effort. Hopefully there will be plenty of winners in there............. let the horses see the festival
Well done Toppy and contributors - very interesting And I thought I was undecided BEFORE I read it ......
Never really realised just how massive a write up the forum produced as a group here. Thought it might be fun to have a quick glance over how wrong most of us were now that 3 months have passed
