What do you guys think of the pictures of our new stadium? http://www.bristolrovers.co.uk/page/LatestNews/0,,10328~2641288,00.html
Half the estimated cost of ours, half the value, half the size,4th choice of site,no planning permission yet and of course you don't own the land but it does look a pretty little thing in South Glos..
That's the best thing Wiz is its size. Its on a slight hill which gives the effect of it being small on the outside but much bigger inside and obviously that helps with the noise as well as height issues for nearby residents. As for the inside the stands seem further back which would give you a great view of the pitch where ever you are sat As for the planning application, I have no doubt about that as the club have worked with the Uni and both Councils (Bristol and South Glos.) in order that any objections raised would be sorted. Though the sell of the Mem would be my main doubt if anything but reading in the B.E.P the nimbys seem in favour of a store instead of a football stadium. So we just need Bristol council to accept the Sainsburys application...
They got one thing correct though on the photos, It's match day and the car park is only has a few cars in it! Got that correct a 21k stadium with a 6k following if your lucky.
When you are relegated to Div1 i estimate you will get 8k in a 40,000 stadium, plus yours looks like a matchbox. Plus we will have consulted with public and town planners in the correct manner and won't have bullied or bribed people. See there is a difference between a professional way to to do business and a way to conduct your affairs from abroad and avoiding taxes.
Look I've said it looks a pretty little place in South Gloucestershire you ****ing load of hilbillies...
Wize...I'm afraid your poposed stadium looks like four shoeboxes arranged around a football pitch. Are you sure it wasn't the result of a GCSE assignment?
**** me Chris who many post have you done? I bet most of them say the same Still angry I see. Anyway you can go home now just finished with your Mrs, don't eat from the crisp packet under the pillow, I had to pick the scabs of and put them into the packet sorry mate
i like to add that our stadium may look small but we dont need a massive stadium for now. plan small to keep the residents happy. in the small print it says the stadium will have the facility to expand to put extra tiers in to increase the capacity. that will be for when were at the top of the championship. and it also allows for further expansion for when were in the prem and in europe and to host champs league finals and world cup games
