    Think Sharp justs needs time to settle, only problem with that is he was brought in Jan to help our promotion push, this puts added pressure on him.

    I am certain somewhere in the next few weeks/months he'll score a crucial goal and we'll be hailing his buy as genius.

    SFA I am not sure you have ever played football, but it actually takes time to blend into a method of playing with a new team. I am sure Doncaster dont play out from the back etc. Your opinion is an opinion I will give it that. I think everyone on here is just bewildered on how you have such a firm opinion with so little evidence. Sharp needs our support as do all the players to improve and work hard for the Saints shirt. If you are refusing to do so based on 3 x 90 (at most) minutes play, I am not sure the club benefits from such fickle fans. I suspect you boo Guly every week also........

    Players like Sharp don't attract the interst he did by not being good players. Given his circumstances and the fact that he's always been a northern lad, it was always going to take time for him to settle. He's not that fit, but neither was Lambert when we signed him. We probably wouldn't be having this discussion had he scored that sitter against West Ham or got the crucial touch on the own goal against Burnley. Give him some time.

    To be fair to SFA sharp went to sheff utd and he done nothing there either, but he might turn out ok for saints,, jury's still out on Maynard and Vaz Te for us as well.
