The new woman reading out the messages is a bit of alright. A lot nicer than Lizzie Fauntleroy-Windsor or whatever her name is. That is all.
She might be but the show is a let down. Is there anywhere online where extended highlights are available of the games. I can't recall us ever being the main game.
It would be nice to say we deserved to be the featured game in the first half of the season, but, we did not. But, sometime in this half of the season, we have deserved to be a featured match, and have shown at least 5mins of a game. This is really no different to our time in the PL, unless we were playing a top 4 - 6 team, we were one of the last to be shown, but, true to type, we rarely got as much air-time as our opponents (I think there was one game we one where we won, we were shown for less than 20 seconds, but our opponents got upwards of 1 minute!!). Though, if it means our opponents now, don't rate us much at the moment, then I am quite happy to be "off the radar" of theirs!!
We were featured game on Match Of The Day for our first game in the premier league vs Fulham ......... Also our games against Man United, Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea, Liverpool were featured and i believe our last game vs Wigan or maybe Sunderland ? was featured
Whats happening with that show? They've changed both presenters now. Did they realise that nobody likes it?
I agree, I'm beggining to wonder if the club has had a falling out with the BBC as we hardly even seem to be on Look North (Yes I'm sad enough to select the BBC from Hull on my sky box). I know they say we're sneaking in under the radar, but this is worse than no coverage at all.
I personally think we deserve the whole hour. Seriously though, what highlights do people expect to see from our games? There are none. Also, I think the featured game is decided before the games are played, so we could have a 6-6 thriller and still only get 2-3 minutes. Doesn't bother me though, as long as I see the goals I'm good, I don't mind not seeing Fryatt and McLean trying to reach a long ball from defence and failing.
I've just given up watching it and wait for the highlights to come on the BBC website. The only time i've watched it recently is after Forest away. Your argument holds little water TWF as the featured game is usually nothing to write home about, and i found yesterday's game entertaining as Norwich came to play football. If they decided on the games after the results had come in it would work much better, then we don't have to spend 10 minutes watching QPR/Cardiff/TWS just because they're near the top.
