    Tuesdays results

    Bristol City-Leicester City 3:2
    Coventry City-Crystal Palace 1:1
    Nottingham Forest-Doncaster Rovers 1:2
    Peterborough United-Millwall 0:3
    Reading-Portsmouth 1:0

    34-43 Watford
    34-38 Peterborough United
    35-37 Millwall
    35-34 Bristol City
    34-32 Nottingham Forest
    35-29 Coventry City
    33-29 Doncaster Rovers
    34-26 Portsmouth

To catch Watford Portsmouth need to win 6 games and will be on their match 40 if that happens and we will somehow manage to not acquire points.
Doncaster Rovers need 5 wins and will do that by match 38
    Coventry City 5 and 40
    Nottingham 4 and 38
    Bristol City 3 and 38
    Millwall 2 and 37
    Peterborough 2 and 36

The important thing is for Watford to equal or better Coventry City Bristol City and Peterborough United.

A mistake is all it is, its not an insult. You came out and right off the bat you slated the post. Which is actually one of the best MTs on this entire forum. He actually got the name of the ground half right, which is more than most, who still call it Upton Park.

Oh yes, I still need to change that! And just realised my last post may have sounded as if I was insulting you (sorry if you took it that way, you many not have). Lets just hope the rest of the West Ham fans are a bit better!

Sorry guys but I don't call your ground the stadium next to the allotments, why should you call ours by any other name. The media can call us what they want, but we know the truth.

But if you did we would just ignore it, or politely point out that you had got it wrong. I dont see you doing any better.

All is changed in the stadium name. I hope there is not to much harm done. I did not realise it was named for the local name for the house where the club originated with a link to Anne Boleyn but did not use her first name.

    Leikurinn grein

    skjildir félaganna
    WEST HAM UNITED - WATFORD

I could continue but I work out what I want in english and then work on the difficult words.

no wonder you don't want to continue the match threads next season. We appreciate them AK :) I know it takes a long time, especially when working in another language.

lol i love the way you think ;)

i think you'll find, what BHD is saying is that there's a way to point out a mistake, and the way you did it wasn't the best way. Perhaps, as a newbie, you're not used to posting etiquette between boards. Mostly, we're polite to each other, even in banter. You'll learn i'm sure. Hopefully you'll be as disappointed with the match as you seem to have been with the match thread, over a very small error. :)...enjoy the game.

What's the best way of getting to the Anne Boleyn Stadium? I've got my ridiculously expensive ticket!

Well if you can afford the ticket, why not ask your driver to get the limo out and drive you and your mates right to the door. :D

I suppose naming your ground in honour of a Queen is quite apt after this raging Queen has been bleating all night...no prizes for guessing what pub she will be drinking in.

Actually old bean I was hoping for a bit of a 'tear up' with the local chappies in Ye Olde Greene Street. I've heard that the locals are 'pwopper nawtie".

Brilliant. Not only are we subsidising you indirectly by our taxes paying your benefits, we are now directly subsidising your football.

It's disgusting that West Ham are charging £20 for home fans and a massive £32 for away fans. I'm still steaming over the bloody Leeds pricing. On Groupon though, you can get 2 home tickets for £20 for West Ham...if you wanted to sit with them. Someone has to do something about clubs ripping off the fans of other clubs, it's gone too far this season!

Is this true 3CR will have the game? I heard they would rather report prison league football than local league teams.
