Looking forward to Sunday's game against Liverpool, and I am feeling confident that we wiil win and get a vital three points, but I have an enormous fear that Andy C will be fired-up to score against us,as an ex-Newcastle striker...local ties and all that!!Any thoughts, lads and lasses?

I have a feeling he won't start, and by the time he does come on we will be 3 up :emoticon-0105-wink: and whatever he does will make no difference... :smiley-finger007::smiley-finger007::smiley-finger007:

Andy Carroll has yet to score for Liverpool, but history tells us that when a player is searching for that elusive goal, our club Sunderland have over the years been very accommodating in that respect, and we have been susceptible to the high balls at times this season.

He hasn't been playing well and seems to be lacking a bit of overall sharpness, as an ex-mag player, I reluctantly concede he is a very good player - and one more deserving of an England shirt than Henderson atm. Yes, he could well screw us over.

My Willaim hill bet yesterday said I think we'll win 2-0

I don't expect the lass to start against us, but I hope she does. On Thursday Liverpool became a long ball team, hoofing it up the centre from defence. I would be more worried if they had to try to play football.
