They never take being bested over the two games well AB. But I've had my fun now, and quite happy to move on. It seems some take internet forums and the comments on them way more to heart than I ever could. Naughty me, bad man.

It was a great weekend to be a Newcastle fan. Could and maybe should have been better but I'm not greedy.

The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ, moves on.

Not greedy either but three points would have been really nice.

Most of the damage to your city wouldn't have happened if it was a proper derby.

    Just saying.

Its the only derby left worth watching in this country. The rest are powder puff these days.

Not saying the Makems are saints but there was a lot of lads waiting by the station for the Makems early on in the day & were giving them grief as soon as they came out the station and virtually all the way up to the ground, also lots of abuse hurled at them at the ground from what I saw. Still no need to be smearing the walls in **** like.

Unfortunately there will always be an element of this in both camps Alfie. Some peoples lives are pretty bizarre and they actually derive pleasure from behaving like bell ends. Its a ****ing football rivalry.

Exactly, both lots were as bad as each other. There were definitely plenty of Newcastle lads who'd just come to see the match much as I'm certain there were plenty of Makems the same but fairly certain there was also an element from both sides looking for a row. Obviously what happened on the pitch didn't help matters. That tone was set by Cattermole in the first 30 seconds.

:emoticon-0127-lipss If I tell you, I'd have to kill you.

I get this all the time actually. I was on last night late on and there were posts making me think "**** me that 10mins was up quick" then I realised the time shown on their post hadn't even passed! Weird. I'm sure there is a logical reason.

    warm pouch.

I'll agree, the Liverpool derby is a joke as are most of the midlands derbies but Arsenal/Spurs fans would argue against your point, and I would considering the next Manchester derby at The Council House will be the biggest game out of all 380 Premier League fixtures in 11/12.

Yours is probably better than most derbies but my point is still relevant.

The fall-out arguments from the Derby are pointless if you ask me. There is only one thing that matters and that is-
    NUFC are top dogs AGAIN.

What happened to the second season syndrome that we were going to suffer according to our Mackem brethren?

MackemsRule's (btw how **** is that name?) comments about Speed were unacceptable if you ask me.

Shame the supermod is a mackem because anyone from GC would have gotten a ban for a post like that.

I reckon Syd will be disgusted by a comment like that of MR's. In the past, we have made sure we have kept a lid on those sort of things on our boards, the banning of Tash with racist comments etc...

That comment is up there with them, and takes the Newcastle/Sunderland rivalry way too far.

The thread has been closed and rightly so by Syd. It would have got out of hand.

I still hope there is a punishment for that sort of thing, way beyond any line set over there.

True , imagine the drama had Tash said something similar to that though.
