Jordan is captain of the England under 21's. The potential the lad has is frightning. Could become one of the best midfielders in Europe. Phil Jones. is a poor man's Glen Johnson, vastly overrated because he is English, if he was Scottish know one would even bother talking about him. The lads biggest mistake was going to United when we came in for him, at least he would have had a medal, instead of playing chase City.
Most United fans use either Red Cafe or SW. Or are you trying to measure the size of the club on forum useage ?
I doubt Henderson will become "one of the best midfielder`s" in England never mind Europe. Maybe Jones shouldn`t be better at rightback as that`s not his natural position. Even though he`s being played out of position and just come back from injury, he still puts in better crosses and plays more creative passes than both Henderson and Downing. No wonder KD tried to put in a bigger offer for Jones but got turned down.
Phil Jones is a fantastic right back, pretty decent in midfield too, but he looks poor in his co-called natural position IMO.
then why the reference to 'the massive club that they are' ? Are you implying we aren't massive as our board is not popular ? Seems strange to make the reference unless you are trying to imply something ?
Because some United fans on here are always saying Citys board is dead and they have no fans "massive club that they are" bla bla bla and I was just saying that United don't have that many on here either.

We established the Banter thread as an area in which both sets of supporters could have their say without destroying threads on each other's boards. That thread is still active but it appears that United fans are once again trawling through our threads to either pass sarcastic comments or see if there is any mention of United which they MUST immediately rectify! Now this thread was between Reds supporters about our opinion of United's performance at Spurs. We did not seek response from United fans, we sought comment from other Liverpool fans. Why is that a 'crime' in United supporters eyes? All of our clubs have other theatres in which to pass comment. However, fans of the Redmen who chose to visit this site do so not to seek confrontation with other supporters (we've had far more than our fair share of that) but to air their opinions with other Redmen primarilly
Afternoon dave, I thought I was having some reasoned debate with you ? I think we all interpret not606 differently. I see it as a multi club forum where if I want to discuss United matters with Liverpool fans / Liverpool matters with United fans / or any other topical matters with other fans then that what you do. All clubs have supporter specific sites Red Cafe / Kopites (I think) where we can discuss things, generally with our own supporters. It's well known they fans from each others clubs come on each others sites - and of course this thread and what it contains was going to attract United fans ( I think the second post is something about how football will be better when SAF dies ). As long as people don't get abusive I don't really see the problem Dave
Afternoon Eric, You hit the nail on the head when you say "don't get abusive". All weekend we have had to suffer idiotic statements from people like Arsenal-for-life and no body famous to the point where it has gone past becoming tiresome. yes we do disagree about the interpretation of what the boards are about but I don't demand that my view is right or shared by all Redmen who post here. When visiting fans post here I do expect them to come with reasoned argument for their views and show some respect. You won't find me for instance searching for any reference to Liverpool on your board. The only reason that we didn't have a debate ear;ier was because I couldn't get back on to the site.
Oh well, at least you are miles ahead of the rest in the quest for the " making yourself look like daft sod" trophy.
United are the opposite of Liverpool Playing sh!t and bagging the win compared to playing very well and losing. Arsenal even scored all 3 goals!
It looks like that in slow motion but in real time I doubt he even had chance to react in that way to be honest. Sometimes they are given sometimes they're not. This time, thankfully, it went for us
the ref saw him straighten his arm out and even in full speed you can see his arm move slightly towards the ball unintentional or not, that is a free, you cannot benefit from controlling the ball with your arm by accident or not
We all know United are corrupt, when red nose retires the history books will show him to be the most sucessful manager of all time, but anyone who lived through his reign will know the sucess was flawed by bribery and corruption.
Although I cant speak with such strong conviction, knowing humans and money, I doubt it has been a clean reign
