Well if the rule of repeating things numerous times, means you aren't wrong.

Nine fans held after derby match
Police described a group of football fans as "idiots" after a number of people were arrested at a derby match between Newcastle United and Sunderland.

Northumbria Police arrested nine fans at derby match between Newcastle and Sunderland
A further group were arrested after the game when a large number of Newcastle United fans gathered outside the city's Central Station with the intention of attacking Sunderland fans and officers, Northumbria Police said. There was a large police presence in the city and in and around the stadium in an attempt to stop a repeat of trouble seen at previous matches between the two teams.

A Northumbria Police spokeswoman said: "Disappointingly, nine arrests were made over the course of the day for offences of assault, disorder and drunkenness, including one for going on the playing area.
."There were additional arrests made outside the Central Station area after a very large group of Newcastle fans gathered intent on causing trouble post-match."Chief Superintendent Neil Mackay said: "The overwhelming majority of fans were well-behaved and wanted nothing more than to attend the match free from the fear of violence, disorder or other crime.

"Despite this and our warnings about the penalties that awaited trouble-makers, there were still some willing to risk their freedom by trying to spoil the day for others."

Mr Mackay continued: "I wish to apologise for the inconvenience caused to decent members of the public when dealing with the idiots gathered outside Central Station intent on attacking Sunderland fans and police officers."A sell-out crowd of 52,084 watched as the match finished in a one-one draw.
    .

So that's the press office and the police, that hole is getting very big now, I would stop digging

    Individual pitch invasions?

Well of course they still happen , have witnessed it during every goal you've scored against us at your place including one fan who decided to push Steve Harper on the floor.

But big ones intending on causing a riot (Darlington away was at first meant as light hearted banter , see Sammy Ameobi song) don't happen anymore unless you're West Ham and Millwall.

Did I ever say that all our supporters are angels?

We have our idiots as well , I know that.

It's just you claiming none of your fans caused any trouble and behaved like ****ing saints because you read one press release and opted to ignore other police statements that said otherwise.

    I absolutely loved that.

You need passion on the touch line and that's exactly what it was.

    Brilliant.

Ah so fighting on the pitch is ok if it was at first as light hearted banter? Don't give me all this about Newcastle fans being angels, one of my best mates dad's was one of the one's labelled on the front page of the Gazette for organising the fight with the Stoke fans, a known hooligan for years who caused more bother than you've probably heard of.

As for the original poster laughing at the mackems, you've basically lied about everything so far about us causing all this bother. Barring a couple of damaged tiles in the toilets and 1 damaged seat I'm yet to see any evidence to suggest that we should do anything but laugh at you.

seems like a job for Mulder and Scully, seems there is being a cover up by the authorities and if the toon fans don't talk about what happened outside the central station then it must never have happened.

However if you a mod and you repeat yourself often enough it actually becomes the truth, wow what power he has................I bet he has light sabre and star wars jammies - "take that you muckems"
