    I have never heard a commentary so biased in deby match in my life. Given the fact that he played for us for years it was nice to hear him nail his colours to his mast once and for all. And they were Red and White. What a disgraceful appointment by ESPN. Never liked him and now after that performance I have him down in the gutter of my opinion.!!!

    I have thought this for years. I want to blame it on him being a thick mackem but unfortunately I think he is just haunted by his space bound shot

    His crack when McClean fouled Simpson was hilarious.

    "Nothing wrong with that, he got the ball."

    Just as the slow-mo replay showed him to be about 30 seconds late and 2 feet off the ground.



    He did change his mind about one of the handball penalty appeals mind.

    Waddle comes from the Felling and talks very much Mackem as opposed to Geordie. Might come from a family of Irish settlers who seemed to make the Felling area home. Not the brightest crayon in the box anyway, although he was a decent enough player.

    There's no doubt about his allegances now. He seems to utterly hate everything black and white. It's his choice, but a bit mystifying for wanting to bite the hand that gave him his big chance.

    As long as ESPN employ him, they'll never get a penny out of me.
