I for one am getting sick of hearing about the Mackems hideous display yesterday. Let's move on to our next game.

Arsenal with two massive wins under their belts in Spurs and Liverpool away... RvP firing on all cylinders up against Willo...And the thought of Walcott running at Simmo for 90 minutes fills me with dread!
Two home draws for us with an under performing midfield lately. I can't see us getting anything from this game, and would like to see Pards make some brave changes to our out of form team.
Is the answer bring in Guthrie for Cabaye? Benni for Raylor? Anyone for Simmo?
I'd like to see a 451 (or 4231 to FIFA fans ;) ) with Raylor or Guthrie alongside Tiote and Cabaye and Benni on the right. Our midfield seems to be getting over run by 451 teams. If we go 442 with HbA I worry for Simmo being exposed against the pace of Arsenal. For me:

    Krul
    Simmo Willo Collo Santon
    Raylor Guthrie Tiote
    Benni Jonas
    Ba

In attack Benni can play off Ba and Raylor can offer great deliveries from crosses, free kicks and corners. In defence Jonas will run up and down the left all day, Raylor can help out Simmo and Tiote can sit in front of the back 4.
We can also pray arsenal pick up a few knocks against Milan midweek!!!
    Thoughts dudes?

I can see Cisse being dropped and Shola coming in.

Other than that it'll be the same. If RVP somehow slips away from Coloccini (who I hope man marks him) and towards Willo, I'm going to shut my eyes and hide below my seat.

Looking forward to the trip, a really good test for us this.

Don't think Shola will be coming in, I think we're saving him for next years derby game.

Looking forward to the trip to London for the Arsenal game and meeting some of the better fans.

I don't rate Walcott but he always seems to do well against us, if he plays his pace could really hurt us.

Not to concerned with Walcott, other than the spurs match he's not done a lot and has been very frustration. Now Chamberlain I would be worried about, he's not scared to run at defenders and is quick.
Same with RVP, mark him out of the game and there will be very little chance of them scoring IMO.
    There playing mid-week as well.

I'd be tempted to drop Raylor at LB and put ben arfa in on the right, this is likly to be a more technical passing game rather than physical like yesterdays match.
Keep Cabaye abd Tiote in as well.

To be fair, no one can stop RVP. All have tried, all have failed, I doubt we'll be any different, just hope he has an off day.

RVP just has the knack of dropping into the right place at the right time.

He's the kind of player I wouldn't even mind swapping Shola for. (As long as we could have him back on loan for the derby games of course.)

As much as it pains me to say it, the unwashed up the road managed it. When Terry Henry scored late on and then knocked them out of the FA cup.

I'm sure pards will be watching Arsenals recent matches to see where to try and exploit them.

True, but did score 2 past them earlier in the season. Sunderland hit the midfield, stopped anything getting forward and did it really well, we need to attempt the same but I think defeat is written all over this, just hope it's not as bad as our previous 2 trips to London.

With Cheik sat defending the back and Jonas and Rayor getting back when needed we can choke the midfield. Or even chuck Ben Arfa on have 5 across the middle so we have players there to break up the play but also players to break forward.

I honestly think this is what we should do with Shola. Maybe allow him Chelsea too when Terry plays because he plays out of his skin against him too.

We really need Ben Arfa. He changed the game last night and gave us that extra spark of creativity we needed.

I think arsenal would be a great game for him to start in. Plenty of time on the ball and space (hopefully) to run into. Although it will probably be 442 with Shola captain

I think HBA would shine against Arsenal if he started.
I would drop Cabaye and bring in Guthrie, sorry but Cabaye looks off the pace at the moment.
Move Santon over to RB and RTat LB.
