Aber, think you mistook who your replying to.......I never mentioned anything about what the English have done mate.

P.s. I know the history. I live by ELan Valley dams. Where villages were flooded for the sakes of Birmingham. But, even the relatives of those that lost their homes/died don't hold a grudge.

if was in Wales watching Wales v Australia and had an Aussie flag, all good. if i was in swansea or cardiff or wherever, watching a team play a match and was waving an Aussie flag i would hope it would be seen as a. i am Aussie and a supporter of that particular side (showing the clubs support is worldwide) b. if the side had an Aussie player, i would be supporting him and his team.

boney, hope you and hook had a beer after rorkes drift, i had one with breaker morant before he was executed :cheesy:

We don't fly English flags. We fly a union Jack that represents Britain, which the last time I checked, we were part of.

    Scum? Bit harsh aber.

    That's fair enough aber.

I could understand your opinion IF the georges cross was being flown, but it isnt.

Oh dear what have I done? <doh>

Not getting pulled into this again, and like I said I'm cool with any flag at all. Doesn't bother me. I actually think it's understandable (if slightly amusing) that Malaysian flags are flown at the CCS, and I'm not offended by it in the slightest.

But I'm amazed that anyone would think it's offensive to fly the Union Jack in Swansea - a flag that our own troops are draped in when they arrive at Brize Norton - yet think it's OK to fly a completely foreign flag at the CCS.

We have fought far more wars alongside our English, Scottish and Irish cousins than we have against them, and have much more in common in shared values. Malaysia is an exotic far eastern country that, whilst I have nothing against, I have little in common with. OK they have based their legal and government system on ours due to a commonwealth/ empire connection and they drive on the left, but they ain't part of my country and never will be.

Aber - your comments are just racist nonsense. You claim to despise racism but ultimately you're a racist yourself. See? I knew hypocrisy was in there somewhere.

    That's my take anyway.

As a swans fan I would just as likely wave a Malaysian flag at the liberty as a union jack. I feel absolutely no connection with either
