i still say that brighton awaybwas the best football ive seen a city team play since the gareth roberts, marwood et al days
And another thing!!! What does this mean? One's still in the job and the other one ****ed off for more cash!!!
Stewart was woeful last night, looked as though he hadn't played football before at times. I also agree with Bum Chin that we played very good football under Pearson this season but didn't take our chances and all that's happened is Barmby has replaced Pearson, kept the same squad and carried on playing the way Pearson had us playing. West Ham at home despite losing we played extremely well and the difference was Robert Green and Carlton Cole.
Completely agree. Everyone knew this at the time but when NP decided to be a ****er and leave everyone then decided he was **** anyway. It was lucky we got Barmby who has a similar way of playing.
Agreed. In over 30 years of watching City, some of the football this season has been the best I've seen from a City side. We're obviously not scoring enough goals, but the performances from King and Cullen last night suggest there might yet be some more in the tank.
yep couple of poor touches gave it away, and a few bad passes. agree he got some good crosses in, need our strikers running across the defenders, barmby should be showing them tapes of hernandez i think lol does look jaded though and in need of a rest maybe a bit of reserve footy to give him his confidence a boost.
Before being criticised. And by that I mean both get afforded the same attitude from fans rather than special treatment 'because he's from Hull'. And if you think Pearson left for more cash you are seriously deluded.
that was probably our poorest league performance for a while, created little and was in all honesty a bit dull, if i wasnt there and was watching on sky , i probably would have turned over to benidorm long before the goal.. but i agree that i would have taken a point before the game, so happy days, and hopefully wel be back playing some good stuff against tws on tuesday!
I'll be quite happy if we don't get another televised game this season, we're generally crap in front of the camera's.
I don't agree with this part though. I don't think there's any other way of looking at it. He left for a club he claimed he wasn't very happy with and who have been well below us all season solely for money.
Probably more to do with the fact he never wanted to leave there in the first place. He had a hissy fit with the owners and we swept in at the wrong time and got him.
He chose to leave there because he wasn't wanted, that's why he made out that he didn't need Leicester any more he was too cool for them anyway. Then when they come running back with money he suddenly likes them again. I can't believe we're even debating whether he left for money or not.
