Looks really serious for the skates now. I don't want them to go under but I think crisis is not the word! Birch is sounding more desperate by the day!

When I read Birch's statement on the BBC earlier, I was wondering if it was just another way of hurrying up any potentially interested suitors but, now, I think that they really are looking into the abyss. Apart from anything else, any potential buyer is going to have to plough millions into the thing just to get it back on its feet again; surely no-one in their right mind would touch it with a bargepole.
If they somehow don't go bust completely but fail to honour the original CVA, then surely they're looking at a massive points deduction? Either way, it looks bad for them.

Hopefully they survive long enough for us to destroy them at St Mary's.

He's owed the money and it was agreed under the terms of exiting the previous administration, they have to pay and dont have any right to complain that it's the football league's fault or the previous administrator.
They got away lightly last time, 20p in the pound and points deduction that had no impact whotsoever!

It's a sad state of affairs, brought about simply by expenditure exceeding income, the vast majority of that expenditure would appear to have been to players that they simply could not afford to maintain with their lack of infrastructure.

Was it all really worth for 5 minutes of glory and a Cup Win? Only the fans that still attend FP and not the Jonny Come lately's that supported them during their ascendancy and subsequently goine back to supporting Man U etc can give you a valid answer to that, if it were my club I'd have to say no!
