Apparently there were 21 scouts at our game yesterday, 8 of which were from the premier league.

CP was quick to dismiss any of our players moving on.

But realistically, who do you think the premier league scouts may have had one eye on?

The only two I can realistically think of are Solly and Wiggins, because the rest of the squad is a bit more experienced whereas these two are still only young - and extremely talented.

    Thoughts?

    Stephens?

Like Powell admitted though, we were the biggest team playing last night and we were within distance of most Premier / Champ teams so scouts were probably just sent to earn their wage...

Leon Clarke. He's absolutely brilliant. <devil> I can't think why we haven't had some offers already. I could personally recommend him to any other club in the country. Actually, I'd drive him to Elgin City tomorrow if they showed an interest!

Well there was proberbly a couple from both ours and Chesterfields next few opponants. I would sugest that any serious intrest from premier league scouts would be Solly, Wiggins and Morrison. As mentioned the others are all either at there peak, on the way down or proven not good enough.

We have discussed this in another thread and I suggested that if a club with limited means wanted a player they could afford to do a job next season (like keep them in the Premiership) rather than develop for the future, they could do a lot worse than Kermit. I know he's 30 but he is far from burnt out because of his stuttering career to date. There are a lot worse than him in the Premiership.

Having read this post, burn or swallow it. I don't want this idea getting into the wrong heads.
