I'm getting a bit fed up of the team selection if I am honest.

We needed a strong CDM in the team and he opted for Meireles?!?!

Malouda actually played OK on the night, I feel he was one of our better players, didn't make (m)any stupid mistakes.

A huge thing we need to work on is working the ball through the middle into the box, getting some through balls on the go. If you watch how we play at the moment we constantly put the ball out on the wings and try to get crosses in.

I am so frustrated with the team selection and how we are playing football at the moment.

I hope we can come back from the deficit but honestly, can I see it happening? No, unless AVB sticks to a full time CDM, and with the possibility of playing Sturridge down the middle.

We can and should be able to recover. Napoli are a poor team ( no laughing please ) apart from the blokes who score heaps of goals !!!!!
We are a shambolic team who can't score to save our lives, but who can create opportunities to score no matter who we play. In other words................get someone up front to stop poncing about and go for the bloody goal !!!!!!! Sturridge is not the answer, he ponces about too much trying to prove ( to who ?????? ) that he's the next Lionel Messi. Torres is .... absolutely, beyond redemption. Take any offer above £100. No take £100 !!!!!. That's all he's worth. Drogba is a wonderful, old, slow, servant, living on reputation, and NOT in our long term plans. Make that short Term. In most of our games we defend poorly, the midfield creates bugger all for the strikers, Cech is like a spider on acid, and despite this , we create enough opportunities to win most games. What we lack is a real proper genuine goalscorer. Roman, money drives your every breathing moment...... so ****ing well BUY ONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jesus wept, it's not rocket science !!!!!!
Start with Aguero, Tevez, Van Persie, or all three !!!!! And that's just from the PL !!!!!!!
**** the manager, **** tactics, **** the formation, **** the critics, just get someone who can put the ball in the ****ing net when they get an opportunity to do so.
    AMEN.

he splashed out 50 million and you were all ecstatic and now you have the cheek to ask him to splash some more on a striker?

is it any wonder he thinks 'fk this' ill tell them who to pick in the team.

hes an owner who cares about his investment.

I think you're misunderstanding his point, he didn't say we should spend another £50m, he was simply pointing out Torres has been a waste of money opposed to other strikers who are better than him.

what im trying to say is this:

it seems as though Mr Abramovich has invested heavily and tried appeasing the fans and of course himself buy buying big name players...and wanting a striker after having invested 50 million in one just will not wash...you might have a rich owner but not an idiot...and thats why he thinks 'fk this' and pops into training himself....it is his 'toy'...it is important to remember this....his livelihood does not come from your club...it's his hobby....but yet you think he will think like an orthodox chairman.

We don't need another striker, we just have to get 1 of the 4 we have playing well (or in Sturridge's case, in the 'right' position).

I don't advocate spending millions let alone 50 million on another striker to not get any service. Any money spent has to be on a more creative midfield and probably a full back or 2.

No one I know was ecstatic about Torres being bought, especially not for £50mill. Most thought it was Sheva mark 2, and how right they were. We would all like to see our owner get and listen to good advice from people who know, not just rush out and buy big names.

Exactly. I still remember a friend of mine (who is Chelsea since 70s) predicted that Sheva would be a flop and that if he had been bought 2 years ago he'd have been a great signing for us. I was never overwhelmed by him at all.

Same with Torres. I was more excited about the fact we had taken him from Liverpool than the actual acquisition of the player himself.I said at the time £50m was way too much given his poor run of form and injuries. I said £30m at best.

A year before Liverpool bought Torres, when he was available for a paltry £20m. I was desperate for us to sign him. But no way would I want us to spend £50m on any player

I was a bag of nerves when Luiz was anywhere in or near our box in his early games, but he's developed since then and given time he will become a first class center back.I think people saw him as a midfielder originally , just to get him further away from our box, but in truth he is someone I don't want to see in MF.

AVB is in over his head and should never have been hired to lead this squad because the Portuguese Baccala is not the guy!

I thought the team selection was woeful. I wouldn't let Meireles anywhere near the starting 11, along with Bosingwa & Malouda. I'd rather play Ferreira in place of Bosingwa and both Malouda & Meireles are woeful. At least Lampard plays with passion no matter how much he's struggling and Malouda needs to **** off ASAP. A one legged Ashley Cole is a better left back than Bosingwa and probably a better right back too. I still want to know what this "PROJECT" is cos I haven't got a bottle of glue!
