Just a reminder that our juniors are playing at Old Trafford tonight in the FA Youth Cup. They are having a great season. Still in the running for the league title and beat Leicester and Spurs juniors to get this far in the Cup. In past decades I would have been a lot more excited, but the ease with which the big clubs can steal bright youngsters these days rather puts a damper on things, but we have seven or eight signed as professionals so we would at least receive some recompense, however paltry. And these things are relative. We ourselves took Pope away from Bury Town for the price of a bag of mixed nuts. Anyway, all that political/financial stuff is not the players' fault. They are doing us proud so let's wish them every success tonight. I think the only live coverage is on Twitter?
A Man U mate of mine seem's to think it'll be on MUTV tonight...not that that will be any help to any of us
Also, on CAFCPlayer at the moment there's a video showing all the U18s' goals in the Cup this season - including Muldoon's free kick against Spurs. Well worth a look just for that
Well played Captain. How on earth do you find these things? I wouldn't know where to start. Watching now.
