Was hoping for something a bit more radical or something.

Why oh why do all these new shirts have pointless bits on them like the top part of the back?? I'm a fan of the black but the back spoils it...

    I love it, i think it's class.

The bit on the back is a bit pointless, but its a good shirt, better than this years imo.

My initial thoughts are - It's fine, and no more than that. Looks decent, a bit classy, but doesn't make me think "I must have it"... Really similar to the Nike one circa 2001-ish

almost identical to that nike one, it's the collar that does it. meh.

agree with everyone else, the back across the shoulders is ****e, kind of like tron crossed with the side of a police car. it's kind of giving me a headache.

From the front I love it, the black trim looks class

From the back though whats all that about, it would of looked better if the back was all red or just proper red and white stripes like usual I suppose we will get used to it

I'm sorry, I'm going to disagree with the vast majority. I love the bit at the back! I'm not sure if I'll buy it though, it's nice and I'm happy for it for next season, but it's fairly average.

Don't like the back - looks like they've failed to line it up correctly. Interesting that Muntari is in one of the pictures - is that a hint that he's going to be around to wear it?

Certainly different, from the front it looks good, the back looks as if was designed for a hi-vis vest.

I will buy one but will have to wear a jacket over the top.......................I always wear mine bed so will probably get too hot.

Sorry but it looks like a kid in China has made it up on the cheap. I'll save my money this time & look forward to the next season.

I'm not too fond of the missaligned stripes but at least we get to keep stripes instead of those bloody awful one-colour backs that a lot of other teams with striped strips have.

    Just a personal view.
I prefer the shirt to have a white middle stripe. That is what we had in the mid 50's when we finished 3rd, and of course Peter Reid's 2 x 7th finishes had the white cente stripe ...
    ... but I'm not superstitious ... ;)
