Firstly a very Happy Birthday to my brother-in-law, I think he's about 13 now! MRS PEACOCK 4.35 Southwell 14-1 can surely only improve for the move from Norma Twomey to Tim Vaughan. It has absolutely no weight to carry and must have some ability as it is a dual point to point winner in Ireland. Often a move does a horse wonders and Vaughan does really well with other peoples failures. If it's going to happen then first time out is usually the time to strike and at 14's it's worth an EW dabble. Look out for signs of a market move.
Stick it took me a while to figure that out bad considering it is my little brothers birthday tmz also
3.35 Southwell: Donatorio (NAP) Looks to have a really good opening opportunity if he can stay on his feet here against a weakish maiden hurdle field.
A much better ex-Fabre inmate than the one that ran on Monday. Beware the Wadham horse though as they think it will improve on what its done so far! Interesting to see DEFINITE MEMORIES out again so soon. I really like this ex Irish point winner and think it can step up from its debut. Yard in form too!
Hey, only took you 4 days to fathom it out...................its my brother from another mother, no offence Stick but I have this image of you looking like Colin Hunt off the Fast Show any resemblance?
RV I see Fammy's horse Storming Gale out tomorrow. We were talking about this one the other night. Must be his RSA prep race
No offence but I am on here to talk about horses, hopefully advise winners and pass on bits of info. Not engage in the ridiculous aspects of this forum so please leave me out of that nonsense!
I put up Big Easy last time out but he is now up 13lbs and I can't have him at 5/2 so I will be backing SNOW BLIZZARD. I don't think a mark of 120 is beyond him and he has had a nice break since finishing 4th under a double penalty in a novice hurdle at Uttoxeter. A nice E.W bet at 16/1 imo. 2.35 Southwell - ONLY THE BEST has joined Venetia Willaims who still has her horses in good form. She has been getting them ready after long lay offs and I wouldn't think a mark of 99 is beyond this one if fit. At 12/1 is worth an EW play. DONATORIO already put up by Topclass should make a winning hurdling debut imo and is a likely bet if he opens up around 6/4
Weights and measures day today isn't it? ... The best day of the season for formbook geeks... Happy days
Fingal Bay definitely out of Cheltenham http://www.racingpost.com/news/horse-racing/fingal-bay-misses-festival-through-injury/993708/top/
Morning, people. Hope everyone well. As I said yesterday I expect old girl Vinetia Williams to have a good day today in staying handicap chases with Marescsou (3.55 Bangor) and Miko de Beauchene (4.15 Folkstone). The former is most interesting on his first run in the UK having formerly been a Grade 2 winner across the Channel and at one point he was even deemed capable enough to take on Long Run. Returns here after a 16 month absence but looks reasonably treated on 123. Is also in multiple heats at the Cheltenham Festival. The latter was a top notcher in his day as he won a Welsh National and was rated in the 150’s at one point. Has fallen almost 3 stones since that peak though and today races off a career low of 119. His penultimate run hinted that there was still fire in the old belly and so I can see, on today’s terms, a possible renaissance for Miko de Beauchene. Good luck one and all.
Quite right, Stick, but guess we're all guilty of engaging in ridiculous aspects at times. I mean, look at my two daft tips yesterday! Oh well, wish I could find another Cue Card to ask your bumper advice on, alas not. Great memories though! (Swanny)......... please log in to view this image (P.S. Good luck with Mrs.Peacock btw, will have a small punt on her too).
Chaps I was thinking of the doing the following bet for the Arkle and would value your opinions if you would be so kind!!! Open a new Paddy power account for E50 and they will double your bet for free-I have to double check this but pretty sure they do it-so basically you have a E100 bet for E50.Now open another PP account under diff details so you have two of the same bet-I'm targeting the arkle here 1) E100 for peddlars cross to win at 11/4 returns E375-profit E275 2) E100 for Al ferof to win at 11/2 returns E650-Profit E550 3) If sprinter sacre wins PP will refund you bet. I've looked at this race very carefully and i cant see anything out of these three winning and they will probably make the first three. The only challengers are cue card who is a fairy and wont make it up the hill and barely won his last race and menorah who has fell twice and cant jump a twig plus the yard is carp form.I reckon it's 90% a good thing and if worse comes to worse your only down a tonne but reckon it's worth the risk!!
In a statement the WBC declared Chisora had committed "one of the worst behaviours ever by a professional boxer" and said the suspension would not be reconsidered until he had undertaken anger management classes. Chisora banned indefinitely
Ste, just to clarify, Paddy Power will only refund up to £100. I think that was what you were getting at with "if worse comes to worse your only down a tonne" but just wanted to make sure! P.S. I don't mean to sound patronising!
God help the anger management supervisors!............. ste doran: That sounds really great with PP, think I'll make a quick enquiry! Many thanks. Like Al Ferof a heck of a lot btw......
