Good luck! "Family friendly" never heard those words used in connection with a pub in or around Leeds before.

I've been in a couple around the ground, but had hassle in both as soon as they sussed our accents. Got bigger chips on their shoulders than the Skates.

lol well my daughter is the saints mascot, travelling up day before, may just eat in our hotel before heading to the ground, prob safer. HUGE game, saints need to ignore all the warnock mania stuff and concentrate on what we need to do.

I'm going. Wifey and I are staying over after the game but beforehand we are going to the Drysalters pub. Never been there before but it is recommended in footballgroundguide.com so hopefully it will be ok. The Drysalters is at the other end of Elland Road from the ground. There is a pub by the ground called the Old Peacock but is not recommended for away fans.

I'm going as I'm staying over for a night out with my best mate at one of the unis in Leeds. Otherwise I wouldn't be going. Such a rip off.

    <laugh> Met then.

And yeah, don't go to the Peacock. Drysalters or the White Rose in the station are the two places you can feel welcome as an away fan, basically.
