    Did anyone see the Minsk race? My feed went down but if Burrenbridge Lodge can beat him I can't see him winning a Triumph Hurdle

    Minsk- christ what a load of hype. Still a good horse but its never an easy transition to hurdles.

    Oddy travelled smoothly enough, looked the winner two out, when it quickened though he seemed to not quite have the answers and didnt get home. Not a Triumph horse for me.

    I suppose Pearl Swan looks the value bet now - if you believe Nicholls when he says there is more to come from him. I think Grumeti also will have come on from Newbury and am looking to him for a big performance today, but at current odds 10/1 Pearl Swan with Laddies looks decent value. I take it he goes straight to Cheltenham

    Well done RV and Toppy with Baby Mix...great shout.

    Not sure I'm gonna have a punt today.Had Shop DJ lined up as my bet of the week from Monday but it was pulled out of the Mares Chase on Thursday to run on the a/w last night which it won.I didn't back it though.Was also keen on Drybrook Bedouin in the Eider but it wasn't declared.

    Back to the old drawing board.
