I'm confused as to whether Graham got the 1st goal or not.

Some sites are saying Deeney scored the goal...some are saying Graham. But all the sites have Graham listed as scoring 21 goals?......Surely if he scored both he's on 22?....

Also Graham wasn't in the shortlist for Championship player of the year (the top 3 are Taarabt, Holt and Sinclair).....but Buckley is in the shortlist for young player of the year alongside Lansbury and Wickham.

Buckley deserves it because despite not playing as many games as he might've hoped he has been devastating when he's played and I don't think it's a coincidence that when he's played we've been on good form.

Disappointed that Graham hasn't got the nod...I think maybe because we're not a big club and Graham wasn't running away with the goal charts at the time of picking the top 3 had something to do with it...but even still I think Graham does more for the team than Holt, Taarabt was too high profile and classy (on his day) to leave out and Sinclair has done really well.

I don't understand how someone who is top scorer in the league, got 7 goals in 7 in December/January and has now scoreed in 6 games consecutively (I think), isn't even on the shortlist. Taarabt is good, but he doesn't have the consistency or the team player element that Danny has. Well done to Bucko though, he deserves it. Hopefully Jenkins, Sordell, Hodson etc can start pushing for Young Player next year.

I think even more so for Garham that he is playing in a team who was expected to finish comfortably in the bottom 3. Top scorer in the Championship with Watford. That should get any player achieving that a shot at Player of the Year.

Firstly, from where i was sitting, the goal was definitely Graham's, and was awarded to him by the referee, though apparently he and Deeney were arguing about it on the way home lol. Seems though, that Deeney is being awarded the goal, strangely, on most sites, though i think the BBC is still saying it was Graham's.

To not pick him for player of the year is crazy, but maybe that means he's not being spotted as much as we think he is, which might just give us a chance of holding onto him for at least the beginning of next season...(or am i just wishful thinking? ;) )

Looks like the question of who scored will go to the disputed goals panel.

The referee should be able clear it up by indicating whether he whistled before Deeney's follow up

I'm pretty sure that the way this works is that fans have to vote for player of the season via the FL site. If we fans were split (which i think we were at the time) between Danny, Martin Taylor and JE then he wouldn't have been in the top 10, probably.

    A massive shame :(
