I wouldn't underestimate Phil Jones, who already looks to me like someone who can be inked into the starting XI for the next 10 years or more.
Jones has done nothing IMO to deserve all this praise that's being heaped on him. He looks alright but if he's going to be England's first choice centre half then we'll do nowt at the Euro's. On the other hand Ruddy has done nothing but impress me and he can't even get in the squad.
He ruddy well is. See what I did there? He's only 25 as well, I think his performances in the PL have been top draw. The other two keepers in the squad don't even play in our top flight. **** knows what he has to do to get a call up.
He's been great this season for Norwich, on peformances this season and with the players he'll have been coming up against he'd have been a better shout than Green and certainly Carson.
Do you remember the kits we had with the unique feature being the Cross of St George on the shoulder? 2004 or 2006 I think it was, two weeks later Norways kits were revealed as being exactly the same (except red home and white away)
Can anyone explain what Phil Brown is on about here? http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/3284...city-boss-phil-brown-adamant-fraizer-campbell
Can't open the link but the headline was 'Fraizer wil not be starstruck' or something along those lines. Probably just Brownie spouting something because he hasn't been in the media for a week or so
Especially with this bit: "In terms of his key hasn’t really got a great first touch but he is that quick and that responsive that his second touch is probably the most dangerous part of his game. "That might sound like a contradiction in terms but I always have this argument in football – what is most important your first or your last touch? "And I don’t think anyone can answer that question because if your first touch is great your last touch will be great. But if your first touch is your last touch then it’s great. But it is an age-old argument; if your last touch is a goal then that is Fraizer Campbell. "I think his last touch is one He catches defenders out. He might not have the best first touch but then he stumbles upon a chance because his second or third touch is so important.”
I hadn't opened the link prior to reading that and honestly thought you were taking the piss. I was laughing out loud at how daft those comments sounded. I then opened the link and **** me he's only gone and said all that complete nonsense. I seriously hope he's been mis quoted or I fear for his mental health. Poor old Brownie.
I wish I was creative enough to make that up but I think you probably have to be nuts. I think this bit has to be my favourite: "But it is an age-old argument; if your last touch is a goal then that is Fraizer Campbell."
I've read the whole lot a couple of times and the more you read it the more mental it sounds. Poor old Brownie. Come TWF let's see you put a positive spin on this load of old cobblers. You're idol has well and truly lost the plot by the look of things. Poor old Brownie.
He's not changed since he left us then - he talks a lot without really saying much. Brownie you're a mong.
