Most people on here will probably think I'm a newbie, but i came on here pretty much from the start. I stopped posting quite a few months ago because of the aggro the BIB vs BOB debate started. I have to say since i started viewing the posts again a few weeks back, its actually gotten worse. This used to be a great forum with some great characters, now it just seems like you have to have the same opinion as others or look out. Syd and the other moderators do a great but unenvieable job, take a bow guys. Anyway, just my two pence worth.

Commachio, I hear you and I hope your right. The worst thing is that it seems to be the same culprits all the time. Got quite the hankering for the old days of this forum....... Got to stop letting them get to me!!!!!
Isnt the look out part the fun part though?? Even the original cest when he mentioned that Bruce was throwing the derbies got lambasted on here from all quarters, and he is part f the "old" brigade, so it happens to us all. and debating is what a forum is for, if everyone agreed all the time, I wouldnt post here, would be boring as hell.
I'm all for a healthy even heated debate, but once it gets abusive it kind of loses it effectiveness. But i agree with the comments about keeping it positive. When you think about it, quarter finals of the FA cup, top ten in the league, best record over the last two months. We have a lot to be positive about. But thats because we follow SAFC KTF
I hope you stay around horden, I would love the older posters back because its that mix that will make this forum bounce again, even I get sick of my drivel.
Syd according to my kids all I talk is drivel, so your not alone mate. Think I will hang around and give you overworked oldies some moral support.
It is simple really ignore any WUMs. I do not post very long posts generally, but actually they are the ones I like to read on the Sunderland 'board' or any other. In particular the Arsenal board is quite good atm cos' the once invincibles, are falling on relatively hard times and their fans seem quite articulate. Cstra on our board does long posts but he has vanished lately. But as they say misery enjoys company so when things are not going well more posts appear, by and large MoN has steadied the ship, although imho 8 points still needed though, so 'board' activity is down.
