Extracts of Paulo Di Canioâs interview following Saturdayâs giant killing act against Wigan. Heâs never been one to mince his words and his ambition is admirable. I donât think anyone would dare doubt him in what he thinks he can do there. Unbelievable talent as a player and heâs now making the right noises as a manager. http://sportales.com/soccer/di-canio-to-take-robins-all-the-way
Hi Fosse, nice post. So we seem to be heading towards a meeting in the 4th round of the cup at your place. We have had some great games between each other over the years , even when you have had Kelvin Morton on your side ,lol. Down here we think that PDC is something special and we reckon he will become one of the great managers. His knowledge of football in this country is second to none and his backroom staff and himself study the opposition in the utmost detail, so beware you could be in for a tough game. All the best for this season, except in the cup .
Redjed.looking forward to the game on sat, but please don't come expecting to win cause you will be dissapointed. I agree you have an exceptional manager and back room staff, but that is where it ends. Just look at it as a big day out
Oh well you did beat us , but it was a great game all the same, Just one thing we did beat you on the day was the great backing and singing of our fans , even on your own forums your own fans were saying how great our fans were and how well Swindon played , would have been interesting had Konchski had been sent off for that tackle on Ferry, as at the time we were all over you . Anyway good luck against Norwich and for the remainder of the season
Yeah thats right we do have a good squad of players, and guess what, PDC brought them in. We were in the same postion as you at the begining of the season. No team, no manager but aint life a bitch when you choose the wrong manager
Paolo's infuence on this team is unquestionable. He's put together a group of players from all over the world and formed a title winning team. The squad unity and morale is exceptional. Di Canio makes every player feel special and needed by the club. If Di Canio is commited to Swindon and is here for the long term then there are no limits as to what we can achieve.
Lets look at the stats. No money? so buying Rooney, Foderingham, Caddis, Ritchie, Cox, Connell, Benson etc but we got no money. No fans? Okay well in the average attendences in this division we are 2nd averaging 8,000. Rovers are down with the 6,000. And your calling the County Ground a shed. The Memorial is barely standing, its a **** hole.
I wish Brizzle Rovers all the best for another season in League 2 next year. It's a real shame we're gunna win the league, I do look forward to games with Rovers. But some teams move on quicker than others.
You are really quite a P***k , Tinpotgashead, shall we look at some of the dumps that the gas have called their home , Eastville dog track, yep lots of dogs there and ramshackle as well, then where was it ...... oh yes 12 miles down the road at bath, oh boy you sure have a taste in dumps of grounds .... and now you are at the mem. which you robbed of the rugby club, another dump as well, so when you come to a decent ground you lot get all green with envy and just cant tell the differance. never mind , just think you are now the worst club in the west country, theres something you can brag about. ROFLMAO, The gas always in the shawdows of the reds , yellows and greens .
When our new ground is built, it will be head and shoulders above our current ground, which is still far better than your dump you call home its a horrid place full of chavs Swindles ground isn't too dissimilar to this to be fair
Bristol Robbers and a new ground , been talking about that for at least the last 20 years and yet we still see nothing . hahahaha
all the way, well second in league 2, unless crawley get there first. shrewsbury town true champions"""
Swindle fans live in the past, nothing good has ever came out of swindle, just a pissy little ****e hole of a town.
