We won 4-0 against a team whose name I don't wish to disclose, as it may reveal my identity with a little research on FootyMad's results section.

I can't remember who my first game was against and I can't rememer the score either, I went with my uncle and I was really young.

The first game that I can actually remember the oposition was Bremner's debut against Forest in 1976, which we won.

The first match i ever went to was against Mansfield in December 1999. Can't remember the result, but i have the ticket from the game tucked away in a personal folder of city memrobilia for me to look at when i'm an old bugger! I remember Darlington in November 2000, we won 1-0 and i think Justin Whittle scored. Though the play off semi final at Boothferry Park that season against Leyton Orient is the one match that sticks in my mind from my early days as a city fan, John Eyre scoring and then crying my eyes out 3/4 days later when we lost the return leg!

that 2nd leg at orient was good, apart from the score, i remember city fans taking over the main street and pub, and having a massive kickaround with a shoot 5..the police tried to step in, but just gave up in the end..
i think there was 3,000 city fans there, but it seemed nearer 10,000..but that was mainly because i was only young, and have had a couple of sniffs of beer and was half cut <laugh>

I have always considered my first home game to be Sheff Utd in about 1978 and we won 3-1 with Edwards and Mick Tait on the score sheet (I think). I did go away before i went home to Chesterfield i believe.

But my only predicament is i remember watching Trevor Phillips, Bruce Bannister, Malcolm Lord and to me that seems to be before the match i have always considered my first.

Nov 1994 F.A Cup first round at home to Lincoln, who were Div 3 and we were Div 2. Lost 1-0 to a first half penalty. sat in the south stand at BP. Coincidently my first game at the KC was at home to Lincoln in the league which we lost 1-0 again to another first half penalty.

First game I saw was City v Sunderland, a Monday night game for the East Riding Invitation trophy on 28th April 1952. It was Raich Carter's last game for City. I think the score was 2-2 but I'm probably wrong - I was only 6.

Hate to tell you this, but I think it was much earlier than that, some time in the mid 80's at home to Sheffield Wednesday. I think we won, and I remember that the people sat behind us in the South Stand were actually Owls fans.... I seem to remember Whitehurst was in the team that day
