So far i have heard: Diomansy Kamara, Miroslav Klose and Owen Hargreaves. Kamara is the only realistic out of the 3 for me. Who do you guys reckon?
I wouldn't say that Hargreaves is unrealistic. Klose is though Go see the Hull fans, they are getting so wound up. Kamara would be a good solid signing.
It is very odd that they have a gripe with us. They have OUR ex manager, OUR ex striker and one of OUR former stars on loan. You would think we would have the gripe with them.
SWP has been mentioned too, I wouldn't mind him. Hargreaves or Owen would be great. Kamara would be the one I'd least like to get, he's not a goalscorer and I've never really rated him. I don't think it's him anyway. It's probably none of them in truth.
Is it right Hobbs cleared off the line at the end of the match? Although I trust Sven, I wasn't happy he let Jack go to a rival. Let's hope it doesn't cost us at the end of the season!
Against Cov? Not sure. I would like to see him back next season but I'm not holding my breath. I think if anything's cost us this season it's the poor start and the last 4 games. I can't see Hobbs getting a winner on the last day of the season to secure a play-off place at the expense of us.....or can I....
No you can't. Hobbs has only scored one for us. A free header into an open goal thats one thing he needs to improve on, attacking from set pieces.
I'm not expecting him to score for Hull but keeping a clean sheet is halfway to a win. In any case, as long as we give Pompey a stuffing on Sat & Hull slip up against Norwich we leapfrog them & it'll only be Watford & Burnley between us & 6th and we have to play them both. It's still in our hands
Hull havn't had the best of times at Home recently. I expect Norwich to win. I love this end to the season, every game is must win. I'm right on the edge of my seat at the games now and the atmosphere picks up too. I LOVE FOOTBALL <3
Its gone really quiet now about the big name signing. Stringer isnt saying anything, the media havent came up with names, Sven hasnt said anything more since, so maybe the owners said no
Sven said it was unlikely that he would sign anyone else this season on late kick off. Kamara was linked with us in another paper yesterday but they probably don't know any more than us. It's not him though, he's not a big name so he must be something else. Seems dead in the water.
Mark Hughes has said we are after Kamara. But he isnt that " big, big name" sven was talking about surely. Maybe Kamara + a "big, big name" is signing aswell
I would rather we signed Kyle Naughton then a big loan signing to be honest. Out of the loans sign Ben Mee if the price is right. Sign Naughton. Yak has 9 games to prove himself. PVA and Bruma are highly rated by Chelsea so not much chance there same with Vitor
At least we have offered our important players new contracts, 2 have been agreed. I too hope Sven sees signing Naughton and Mee as our first priorities. Then a striker, whether that's the Yak or someone else. We'll see whether the loan signing makes a difference, one things for sure he's going to have to start scoring pretty sharpish. Kamara wouldn't be my first choice but what the hey.
I would love Mee and Naughton to sign. That would be priority number one for Sven. Then we should look into signing Bruma because he looks good. PVA can go back to the shadow of Cashley Cole. A prolific goalscorer too, we need one please!
