A great w/end to be Welsh and fly the Dragon

    What a great week end to be Welsh with our national rugby side playing up in London looking for another win this time against England and of course our capital side Cardiff City once again in a major cup final against a english side .

    The whole of Wales will be behind these two great sides and lets all of us hope that they bring victory and a cup back to our beloved homeland .

    Saturday London will be red and white but Sunday we paint it blue & white again ,all us welsh together behind two teams ,one flag ........one nation .

    It's actually always a great weekend to be Welsh ... especially since the top football club in Wales is playing in the best league in the World - Swansea that is. Not a club from the capital, but the best capitalised club nonetheless.

    Biggest now and we will get bigger! Whereas Caardiff can have the clean sweep of Wembley defeats. They are welcome to it, it will be forgotten in a year.

    Dont be harsh on the Cardiff fans. They're getting all excited at the prospect of playing against a Premier League team. I know we do it week in week out and take it for granted but they don't.
    I'm more interested in our Premier League fixture against Stoke City on Sunday and haven't been keeping an eye on lower league teams this season so I don't really know how they've been doing.

    ... "irrelevant"

    ... "pointless"

    ... "meaningless",and,

    ... "Mickey Mouse"

    Those immortal words being posted in the wake of their League Cup defeat to The Swans' some 3/4 years ago.

    No need to be negative Swim, we all want Wales to win in the rugby and then the Swans to win on Sunday. As Vetch quite rightly points out the one time we take the Carling cup seriously we put the lower league neighbours to the sword.
    We are Premier League, they are not and it is killing them.
