Rather annoyingly after backing Do It $ Dalkey I have found an interesting outsider in the same race! Have had to do RFC and EW bet on:

Beamazed in 340 - IF he jumps round he will go extremely close :) big IF though

No messing around from old Mr Henderson he's planning to get Barbers Shop straight back out on the track (Fontwell Park on Sunday) in an effort to get him qualified for the Cheltenham Foxhunters! Tally-ho and all that, say I.

Well done with Big Occasion Yorkies <ok>.

Barney can't have Barbershop at any price for the Foxhunters..suspect Her Majesty must be planning a visit on CGC day and the plan is for her to have a runner.

Dex, over the years Barbers Shop has been something of an enigma and at times always appeared to be on the threshold on doing something really big but it never quite happened. Did run some excellent races though to be placed in heats like the King George VI, Hennessy, Paddy Power and Jewson’s. Was also as high as 159 at one point.

He still isn’t even qualified for the Foxhunters yet but if he could achieve this I don’t think he would be without a chance especially seeing as so many are dropping out of that (leading lights Baby Run and Zemsky for instance within the past 10 days). They will also go a stride or two slower than in the big ‘uns which will suit him no end when it comes to both lasting home up the hill and jumping the obstacles.

Could prove quite a 40 minutes for Mr Henderson if Long Run obliges in the CGC followed by Barbers Shop in the Foxhunters!

    Lads,

I've started using betfair and i just can't work it out.

I have bet on Quinte du Chatelet £5 @7.4 to win £32

5 x 7.4 = £37 then I would expect my stake back on top of that

Am I missing something here? Am I an idiot?

Betfair odds include your stake - so 2.0 on Betfair is evs - you bet a quid and get 2 back <ok>

True enough, the race has cut up quite a bit and will take less winning than usual.
