We've got 2 home games coming up, the first is very winnable and then the mackems.

Seeing as we are at home then our starting line up, especially against Wolves, has to be the following:

    -----------Krul-------------

    Simmo--Willo--Colo--Santon

    HBA---Tiote--Cabaye--Jonas

    --------Cisse--Ba----------

Unfortunately after Pardew reluctantly gave HBA a go in the first team, after a couple of mediocre performances, he has decided to bench him indefinitely. Even though he has clearly, still to this day, done more constructive positive things for the team then Obertan, Sammy and now it seems...Shane Ferguson. How in god's name did Fergo get a run out against Spurs while Benny gets f*ck all (again!) is laughable. Fergo did well, but that isnt the point.

Pardew has totally alienated HBA more than he did before and it seems no matter what he does, he isn't interested in playing him. Shocking.

I hope I am wrong and Pardew sees the light and is POSITIVE in his choice at RW for Wolves. But I am not holding my breath.

Lets put Wolves away. Give the Mackems a hiding bringing them back down to earth in showing them who the superior team are in the North East (5-1 will do), then head to crisis club Arsenal who are there for the taking.

    HTL!

I dont think Pardew has alienated HBA,he has said HBA needs to adapt to English game.
Against Wolves I would start HBA on RM, maybe a start will give him a bit of confidence, but I did see that Raylor hopes to be fit gor the game, so think Pardew might go with him.
Against the Mackems I would defo start Raylor on RM and maybe I cant believe I'm saying this starting with Shola, just because he know what the derby means to fans.
If it doesnt work bring on Cisse asap.

For both games I would play:

    Krul
    Raylor Willo Colo Santon
    HBA Tiote Cabaye Jonas
    Ba Cisse

But I could understand if Pards played Raylor RM and Simmo RB.

I would play with HBA on the wing against wolves and let him know that he can't afford to not track back. Depending on that performance i would then decide on the team for the Sunderland match. We need everyone working 100%.

Up front it has to be Ba and Cisse. Yes Shola has a great record against Sunderland and he has a role to play in the game, but not from the start.

It's not just tracking back though, he tracked back in recent games, but was appalling in other areas, well every other area. Ryan Taylor is our best right sided midfielder by a mile on current form. We look like a much more balanced and potent force with him in the side.

Taylor does seem to be our only right sided midfielder who can actually cross the ball, but if we don't get HBA into the team for games like home to wolves then there's no way we'll play him in other games. That's why I'd play him, give him another chance to show he can do a good job there.

Mentioned earlier that I'd rather see Simmo at RB and Raylor RM.

You can't honestly think HBA will start. He won't. Not only that, I wouldn't even start him the derby anyway.

Assuming no suspensions/injuries between the two games the team will pick itself with the Pardew's only dilemma Raylor or Obertan on the RW. You and I might not like it but let's be realistic here!

No. Bringing on basically a reserve player is a slap in the face to Benny. Fergo did ok for a reserve, but he isnt in Benny's class is he?

Just imagine being HBA now. How out of touch and disillusioned will he be? Totally unnecessary.

Raylor on the right for me. ba and cisse need service and rayor is the only winger we have that can cross a ball. nuf said. the rest of the team picks itself.

    Well that's the question isn't it ?

Obviously Pardew thinks it is necessary.

If you have seen the hit movie Goal...HBA is Santiago Munez. He will be a world beater when he learns to pass

On a side note, saw an old guy this morning with a hat on that had HBA on the front. What else could it stand for?

Amusingly, that is what happens when you type Scunthorpe into this sites filter. Sums up my view of the place as well

Do you think Pardew will drop Guthrie?
