Liverpool's win over Brighton means our match on March 17th is off. This is not so good for us as it may be mid-April before we play them and that could mean 4 of our last 5 matches are against the big six. The only bonus is there would be more time for our team to gel and the possibility of snatching an unexpected point or three...
We'll beat Liverpool whenever we play them, the longer we'll get to gel the bigger our winning margin will be.
Really annoyed about this as I was looking forward to QPR vs Liverpool followed by England vs Ireland Six Nations straight after the match. Won't be such a messy St Paddy's Day now lol
The more time our team has to play together, and Sparky has to fashion it as he wants it, the better imo. Hopefully Cisse will have learned some discipline by then, and won't be tempted to chin Suarez
I said this even before the season started, that our run-in is one of the worst I have seen in recent years for any premier league side. United, City, Liverpool, Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal all within our last 10 games of the season. We will be cursing our missed chances for wins, especially in the home games such as Newcastle and Villa, when we come up against these sides. Fingers crossed we can do it
Bad news for me. I have a ticket for this game (part of a ticket bundle) and will now have to book a shift off work as I work Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Balls.
Well I think it's a positive because Liverpool will not want to come to LR midweek and that could play into your hands
I could have been in London for that on 17 March, so not happy either. But expected at home to Brighton!
On the other hand, the teams will have played 1 more game than us so by the time it comes around, it will be a bonus game if we are above the bottom 3. I just hope we arent in the bottom 3 then and have to get something from it.
