Should be on cloud 9 this morning but can't help worrying about Watford. Had some terrible trips there in the past and don't remember many good results at their place. Can anyone re-assure me?
Watford are 17th and have a GD of -11 compared to our +26. I know any team can beat any team on their day, but we're just hitting our straps with the finishing tape in sight.
They have been our nemesis in the past, time to settle some old scores and put that particular wrong, right.
I'm just hacked off because there are no away tickets left so I (and many others) can go and cheer on our boys! What a complete pile of crap Watford are!
Are we all heading for The Moon under Water ..... might be called Moon on Water - for a pre match beer on Sat at Watford? well something like that
5th March 1988 was the last time we won there 1-0 .............. settle for that again on Saturday ......
Moon Under Water according to ther reliable Football Ground Guide I think I'm going to this one, I've decided last minute. Gonna be sitting in the home end with my watford supporting friend!
1st Saints goal: eyes swivel in your direction 2nd Saints goal: heads turn, looking for you. 3rd Saints goal: clatter of seats and your mate throws you to the Watford fans to save himself Don't worry about our 4th goal..it will no longer matter to you.
i did this in the 05/06 season on boxing day, was burleys first game. we lost 3-0 and my dads watford supporting mate was rubbing it in our faces - horrible day
It must be nice to be so well off as a club that you can run a club on 50% capacity! The last I heard Watford were on their arse and had to have Elton John in to bail them out again Keeping Saints fans down to only 2000 might keep the atmosphere in their favour but is it wort the financial loss of probably another 2000 paying £25 each?
