Pompey in Administration again, you have to feel for their fans.

Cant even aford a scan for Liam Lawerence who's injured.

I don't feel sorry for the fans one bit. They have had a lot of success but didn't go about achieving it in the correct way. Especially compared to the likes of Darlo, what have they had to enjoy, moving to a completely unsustainable white elephant?

Decent club, decent fans, grounds a bit of a heap but still a great atmosphere.

Used to enjoy my trips down there.

Hope they can pull through again. Maybe get some foreign investment from somebody with plenty of cash to throw away.

I feel for any fan of any club when they go into Admin, can happen to any club, ie Rangers.

I feel for Darlo but that stupid twat George Reynolds shouldnt have built the stadium, just an ego trip.

It's a shame but if you love your club, you can enjoy a matchday in any league. <ok>

They just need to readjust their ambitions as fans (again), as so many other sets have had to do. Here's just a few examples.

Darlington: Pushing for promotion to League One -> Staying competitive in the Conference
Gretna: Mixing it with the big boys -> Having somewhere to play
Wimbledon: A low point but hoping to return to the big time -> Looking up Milton Keynes on the map
Chester: Solid lower league club -> Finding a league to play in
Halifax: Strong non-league side looking to return to the league -> Struggling to exist
Leeds: Premier League regulars -> Staying competitive in League One
Luton: Strong league side -> Finding stability

Now each of these clubs I think you'll find have in some form or another 'bounced back' by adjusting to a new way of life. Leeds are still one of the best supported clubs in England and have slowly built themselves up for a hopeful return to the top flight. The likes of Luton, Halifax, Chester and AFC Wimbledon are all fantastically supported and all on the rise. Darlington and Gretna have accepted they need to start again and are fan-owned, they may not be flying up any tables any time soon but they are definitely having a much better time of things.

I think even if it takes an 'AFC Portsmouth' playing in the Conference, things will be alright. Administration can never take a club from its fans, ever. <ok>
