    Hi to all of you,

Just thought id post seeing as you guys now have Warnock in charge. I guess there are a few who are unsure about it, and at the time he came into QPR a few of ours fans were.

But I think its a great appointment for you, and he will definately turn you around, no doubt. I dont think you could have got anyone better in, and if he cant get you up, then there are not many others who could do a better job.

I have had a quick look at some posts from you guys about it, and he will make you hard to beat for sure, and will get the players organised.

With us he played a 4-2-3-1 formation, which probably wasnt suited to the PL, but obviously worked wonders in the NPC. Many were sad to see him go, but ultimately felt the time was right for a change.

He has a great team working with him, and no doubt will bring in a few of our players to strengthen your team - i guess a few even on loan until the end of the season.

Good luck to you, im sure he will get you challenging at the very least! I, and many others will be watching with interest to see how he gets on.

Thanks for those comments. Personally I've had great respect for the man and his achievements for many seasons. I too believe, he will eventually get us up. On ability he is head and shoulders above Grayson and time will prove that I hope

Good post, thanks. My soft spot club in London is QPR, so I wish you lot all the best for the Prem. Can you confirm Warnock's full coaching team? I know Keith Curle was his assistant at QPR, but is he still at the club?

    When Warnock left so did his two main assistants;

Keith Curle - was first team coach
Mick Jones - was his assistant manager

The physio's and strength coach that he bought in are still with us. I am pretty certain that both Jones and Curle will join him as they have followed him everywhere!

Not THE MICK JONES? The man who's cross won us the FA Cup in 72!.....I know it's another Mick Jones, but what a name to have at Leeds Utd.

Thought NW would go to Leeds and sure he will get you up next season. Completely turned QPR around when we were in freefall heading towards Div 1 and got us up at champions the next season. Wouldnt be surprised to see Paddy Kenny in goal for you next season as well as hes a great keeper in my book. Hope he brings Leeds up next year as long as its not at the expense of QPR should we go down. NW will always get a fantastic reception by Rs fans on any future visits to LR.

Would love Paddy Kenny to be a Leeds player next season.

No point when we have Lonners. Kenny isn't any better.

I'm sorry but yes he is and almost every manager in the EPL has stated that Kenny is a cracking goalie. Lonergan is good, but Kenny is better.

Kenny is a cracking goalie, so's Lonners. Lonners has done almost nothing wrong this season and I don't want Warnock to bring in some coked up goalie to replace someone who doesn't need replacing.

Competition for places, I am 100% behind this, especially when both players are of a good standard.

I'd rather see someone else though than Kenny. Ideally I'd have McCarthy, but I'd rather have a promising youngster pushing Lonergan for a place than an established player dropping down expecting games.

Warnock said Mick Jones was with him at the game - I thought it was THE Mick Jones, but now I understand

Yea ScottishWhite, I thought the exact same thing.

'I turned to Mick Jones and said'

And I agree with Simon that I'd prefer Lonners with a younger keeper trying to push him for his spot. Lonergan is one of the best keepers in the league and one of our best players imo. We could use a captain though

While I agree competition for places is good, funds to the manager are low and we should not be wasting a wage with a highly paid second choice keeper. Lonergan to start, Cairns on the bench, if Lonergan gets injured we dip into the loan market. We can't complain about dead wood one minute and then have two keepers of equal standard in the squad, yes it would be ideal but if Bates is keeping the purse strings tight...
