Just a quick note to wish you all a safe Journey on Sunday, hope you will all be able to make it down for the early kick off. Information tells me it is too early for train, but if anyone is coming by train the ground is a 20 min. brisk walk. Car travellers will be able to find on strret parking around the ground with only a short walk. We have a club bar and a couple of hostelries reasonably close. Looking forward to the game and can not decide in my own mind what the outcome is going to be, I thought we wouldnt get a result at Hull. Love a draw as not ever been to the Britannia even though I live in Stoke.
Cheers for the info and here's hoping for a quality game for both sets of fans and yes a draw will do and a rematch at the Brit to create more revenue for both clubs!
Old Codger your chairman ain't doing your club any favours mate as this is the best pre match team talk Pulis could ever give his players - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17078555
Our Chairman is a real Gent, however our Manager (Quote tends to wind people up, and is very vocal on and around the pitch, but out of football he also is a really nice guy a little like Jekyl & Hyde character . Looking forward to the game win draw or lose and hope you play a full first team squad.as you will need to. Keep following the dream.
Hi Old Codger, I have been recommended to come south on M23 to A264 turn off then 2nd roundabout taking Tollgate Hill and at first roundabout bear left and look for street parking. There does seem plenty of housing estates about where we can park. trust it is safe. I was told your manager is a bit dodgy and perhaps should not even be there.
On street Parking should be safe. Ilive in Barrington Road (Google Map it) 10 min walk. However do not use the 264 it is better to travel down the M23 to the Pease Pottage (Services) exit then turn right at top of slip road, second right over the bridge to town centre down the dip you will see a roundabout and the ground is on the left, this will save you going through the town.
As for a dodgy Manager he could be classed as vocal and his choice of language for an oldcodger such as me makes me cringe and he came with a bad reutation from Boston, however he has taken us to the league and two very good cup runs so suppose have to take the roufgh with the smooth, As
Hi Oldcodger, Thanks for the advice, parked up just off Wakehurst Avenue. Best of luck for rest of season
