The gate was appalling though 26,000 ?, i have been to every game this season at home and cannot understand why so many empty seats. We are better now than years ago, and if we get to the cup final, there will be crys of 'i want a ticket' but there will be only about 25,000 available.
TBH mate I can't get to games any more (finance, distance) and to be honest I wouldn't even try to get one for a final out of respect for those that go week in week out. People who do should be very ashamed IMO.
The lad rang me on his way to the City centre, he said all the miserable old sods that are usually around them were missing. The ones usually telling them to sit down and shut up when they get excited. He reckons they were making more noise as more were joining in. I hope the bugger took his key as I aint waiting up till the early hours.
i understand what your getting at but i live in holland and if we get there i will 100% be trying to get a couple of tickets for me and my lass... and i wont be ashamed at all..
Just shows you the power of TV. Without live game the ground would have been bursting at seams a few years back.
The boy is a nice enough person but apart from winning headers from the goalies kick-outs, what does he do....nowt!!!!!!!!!! A 5 year contract.. not on your life.
