"What light from yonder window breaks?" It's a Becks <cheers>

Nice win for Hendo's horse but not a prayer for the Triumph

Reynoldstown looks a really interesting race, I am not really a fan of the front three in the market, and of the three I would think that Invictus is overpriced. I wonder if we will see a big run from Alfie Spinner.

I'm fancying a shock here and am having a decent bet on Invictus - one of the most striking novice chasers I've seen this season

Oddy - Alan King on Invictus: "He was disappointing in the Dipper at Cheltenham over the New Year, but he twisted a shoe during the race which would not have helped, and he was sore for a while afterwards. He has had a nice break and we have always thought a lot of him, so this is a good chance to find out where we stand.” His rider Choc Thornton added: "I got an electric feel at Plumpton and there were excuses last time."

Nass I put up a thread on him after his Plumpton win - he jumped big and powerful yet it looked effortless, almost like Master Minded. I read he'd twisted the show last time so I think that run can be forgiven <ok>

Depending on how he jumps, BOBS WORTH should turn the tables on the Nicholls horse and 2/1 is a cracking price

Not come to gloat after the event, but I backed Homeward Strut yesterday again at wolves in the last, this was the 50/1 winner, he was running 6 lbs out of the handicap yesterday and won well. I think he can go in again with further improvement and not too harsh treatment from the handicapper

I am partial to Hefeweizen Dass but it makes me fart like a goat and I have a habit of losing a couple of days when I get stuck into it <yikes>

The you better stick to the Becks, I don't want to put you nearest and dearest through that <laugh>

I'm back across to Germany in May and Sept this year hopefully, can't wait.

all about the weissbier <ok> . Seen that they started brewing it in Camden and I have to say it's pretty good though falls somewhat short of the real thing. Paulaner is great stuff. Weissbier is my favourite form of alcohol though if I'm being honest I'm seldom fussy :D
