    Hi everybody ,
Just thought i would throw this into the mix ..............
To watch Stoke win the FA CUP or go down ?
I myself am just in me 40s and never seen Stoke play at Wembley in a proper competition !
We are currently in the Prem ........
    What would you want .
When is the next next time Stoke will get to Wembley ?
and if we went down down do you think we are good enuff to come back up ?
    CAUSE WE ARE !
But seriously what would you want ?
It is a massive question ....
How many times will we seriously get there again and look at the memories in our lifetime ..
Its a serious puzzler fellas ?
    Please discuss !
Because this is one seriously big day !
    UTP

It has to be the prem every day of the week. We go down we will struggle to get back up and away trips to Brighton on the cards. We stay in the prem and who knows we may get an even stronger side and the winning of the FA Cup every year just becomes a formality! :)

Much as I would love us to get past Bolton and dare I say win the bloody thing.
I have to go along with Waddo. Premier League for me, sorry mate might seem a bit hard on the younger fans here in Stoke. But, I was lucky enough to "be there for" our win in 72 and both semi's v Arsenal. MASSIVE let down they were too!

I also think if the worst happened and God forbid it doesn't mate. If I'm honest it would be very tough to get back here I think. And, I NEVER want to go back to the day's of the Chesterfields, having a Pee in a toilet with no roof. Could name dozens like it and some worse than that. Premier League is where we are and I'm loving every sec of it!

Still, enjoy our day out at Wembley and who knows, maybe we go there again, this season. KTF Potter but always remember too enjoy the GOOD times. They don't come around that often.

I would take us staying in the PL over winning the FA Cup for sure-it took us nearly a quarter of a century to get back into the top echelon and I don't fancy a return to the lower leagues. However moving the goal posts slightly and If I had a crystal ball; say we stay up this season but are then relegated next season, then I would take the FA Cup win this year and go down a year earlier. One more year in the PL would not outweigh winning the FA Cup for me.

Very difficult to choose, this is the FA Cup we're talking about, the best domestic football competition on the planet. I guess...the Premier League, sorry lads and ladettes. We're 2 wins away from a place in history and 1 win away from playing in Europe next season. Must...not...get...ahead...of...self

Definately be the FA Cup for me, we have never won it and are only two of the founding members of the Football League to never win the cup competition along with Accrington FC, who aren't to be confused with Accrington Stanley.
It's not just the fact of winning it, it's the fact of saying that you were at Wembley when all the odds were against Stoke City and we managed to get past Bolton and either of the Manchester based clubs, it's the fact of having that match programme to relive the memories of the day.

Lots of supporters nowadays will say that being in the Premier League is so important due to the sport that we all love being so money fueled it's beyond belief but I would love us to win the FA Cup, to me having known I was there when we lifted that piece of silverware, no amount of money can replicate that feeling in my opinion. If we were to rewind 30 years or even just before the Premier League was founded, the FA Cup was what it's all about and to me it still is what it's about.

Being the optimist i am i seriously think we will achieve both. . .However, id take survival over the cup. If Stoke were to be relegated you can bet a years wage Coates would sell off all the talent to re-coop his money, meaning doing the old baggie trick would be very difficult.
