Florida last year for me also, Disney Hollywood studios outside Rock 'n Rollercoaster ride. The guy I spoke to was the father of a young lad in a city top (I think he had Altidore printed on his shirt). The guy was also staying in the same Disney hotel as Nick Barmby, so I spent the rest of the day looking out for Mr B! I also saw a young lad ahead of me in a City shirt in the queue for Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom, it made my day! Also, about a week after Wembley, me and my cousin went to Anfield for the Liverpool Capital of Culture concert (Kaiser Cheifs, Zutons, Paul McCartney, Dave Grohl), and we decided to wear our City tops. On our way in to the ground an official photographer saw us and asked us to pose for some photo's near the pitchside, as he thought it was some sort of novelty to see a Hull City shirt inside Anfield. I told him to get used to it. Not exactly bumping in to a fellow fan I know, but seems worthy of a mention here.
I wonder if that might have been me or my Uncle? We both queued for Tower of Terror early June last year in our City tops!
Hollywood Studio's must be a hit for us Tigers... mne was in May last year... also i love Tower Of Terror! always **** myself
I love the fact that it's slightly different every time, so you can't predict exactly when that next big drop is going to come. First time I went I was absolutely bricking it because that room they gather you in at the start to play the twilight zone video, I thought that whole room was going to drop with us all stood in it!
On the deck of the Endeavour in Darling Harbour, Sydney, one of the guides used to live in Cottingham, recognised the accents. Also in a gift shop in Mijas, Costa del Sol - fully shirted up.
""Top that one????? Rofl I think that was the name of the game!!! Do you think they couldn't hit a Tali-ban-jo on the arse???
I was with my son who had the second prem season kit on. If it was you oobujoobu we chatted briefly about City and also the Aerosmith ride which I'd just got fastpass tix for and youd just been on.
her My instincts would of been not to shoot. I couldn't shoot another city fan. You should of tried a chant to bring him to his senses.
I'm not sure what you'd chant, maybe....... You're losing the war, You're losing the w-a-r, How **** must you be, You're losing the war You're going to die in a minute, die in a minute, you're going to die in a minute........ Or maybe the old classic You couldn't hit a barn door with an AK47
No - his name, Alex. Perhaps its was me with the city kit on (no name) and my lad had his NY Red Bulls with Altidore 19 on back he bought it earlier in the holiday.
Yes that's right, I knew I remembered Altidore on the shirt! As the adjacent park never stops telling us, It's A Small World! (after all).
Wait, was this guy returning fire at you or alongside you? If he was one of the rebels that's unbeatable I'am afraid.
I was wearing my City shirt on a boat out on The Great Barrier Reef off the coast of Queensland, Australia when I met a fellow member of TigerNation. At 9286.1 miles from the KC, do I win the prize for the random meeting furthest away from home?
That makes the Arndale Centre in Manchester seem tame... Was waiting outside Sports Direct and this guy walked out wearing last years away shirt. I told him he had a good shirt on and he said that every where he'd been in Manchester that day he'd only manage to meet Tiger fans... Strange, isn't it????
Not quite meeting a tiger fan in a strange place but I had a female work colleague who emigrated to New Zealand about 20 years ago - who should be sat in front of me at the Emirates when we beat the Arse but her!
