Born in Perivale Maternity Hospital ??? Would think there are a few of us born in the same room....Scary
Yep thats the one, the demographic of 40ish year old male QPR supporters born there must be quite high
Age: 21 (youngest poster here so far?!) 'Occupation': Student, BA French (final year, looking for a job!) From: Originally from Colchester, at uni in Liverpool and would like to stay here after graduating, fantastic city! Also love snowboarding and playing golf, play up front for two teams in Liverpool and scored in both games last weekend - MH are you reading this?!
Age 34 electrician married 2 girls, 6 and 7 - strange names, I know and one 17 year old step son live in bounds green, north London. Successful and promising goalkeeper until 16/17 then lost it. Life now is about family and work and recording as much football as poss and watching when the missus has fallen asleep! My old man grew up in east acton and went to QPR with his dad, hence my loyal devotion. That's how it's meant to be isn't it. Liberated through baldness - would have it back. Dt's 5 a side - good shout. Anyone?
Well ,the credit of that maybe goes to my older brother. He was and is an ardent Liverpool supporter and he did buy everyweek a finnish pools&football magazine Veikkaaja. In that magazine were intresting articles about english footballteams. As i was a little bit envy to my brother of his "hobby" so decided to have a club of my own. Then there was an article about QPR in the Veikkaaja with photos of Terry Venables and Rodney Marsh with white and blue hooped shirts. I was "sold" and year after that ,when Bowles ,Thomas and co. came into the club i was like really into it. Then the next years were ardent listening from BBC world service and reading from Shoot/Goal/Match magazines. Late seventies i begun the match programme subscrition for over ten years or so. My first visit to london was march 1980 sadly we didn't have a home match during the week i was there. So my first QPR-match alive was a away match against mighty Shrewsbury Town at the Gay Meadow march 1980 in the old second divison. We sadly lose that match 3-0......After that i ve seen QPR several times ,mostly at Loftus Road ,and the latest match i was at LR was that Norwich match about 6 weeks ago. So ,thats my history with QPR hope i didn't bore you...... p.s That brother of mine is coming to london next week with his wife and children. He did not get a tickets to wembley where Liverpool plays leaguecup-final against Cardiff. So instead of that i've helped them to purchase tickets for Fulham match. So beware there will be liverpool-fans in ellerslie road stand. Im sure they all will cheer on us thought........
Ok....here it is... tall, dark and handsome stallion, 12 inch chopper.... age irrelevant, likes walking, dancing, socialising and fashion... Kids available on request and love life and partying ..OH...is this not daterape.com..sorry !! \ OK.I SUPPORT QPR !!!
Age 45 but I don't look it. Dens Hoops can testify to that. Qualified as an accountant but now working in procurement & logistics. On my 2nd wife (not literally at the moment, hopefully later if I am lucky). Stepdaughter 16, boy 7 and girl 4. My boy has no interest in soccer at the moment but has a QPR jersey. Can't wait to bring him to his first match, it will be a proud day for me. From and living in Kerry, the south west of Ireland. Been supporting QPR since a wee lad. I have a vague recollection of having been given a choice of a number of clubs to support by my 3 older brothers. Not sure why I selected QPR, must have liked the name. Can't remember the options.
Born 1979, age 32 (for two more months one the day). My profile give it away anyway. Born in the northern parts of Norway, now live in the sunniest city in the land were my missus come from. Married with children. One boy who can't understand why he can't support Manure like his mates. But wears his hoops with pride, still... Work with real estate. Been supporting QPR since 11th of november 1989. Been crazy about my beloved hoops ever since. Try to get over for a couple of games a year. Main interests are film and music, and a big fan of british comedy.
Generally, I like to maintain anonymity (hence the user ID) but... Youthful looking 34 year old (got asked for ID last year). Born in Mansfield. Been Rs fan roughly since the early 90s - a gradual thing starting with admiration for Wegerle's tricky skills and culminating in the New Year's Day match at Old Trafford. Recently engaged to an Ipswich season ticket holder. I do reporting and system support for a credit control department (actually a supervisor but enjoy doing the work more than telling others to do it). I like playing pool and footy (when I get the chance), have recently started a masters in Maths with the OU (I have some geeky tendencies), love music (indie/alternative) and films (thrillers/gangster).
11th of november 1989 - That wasn't the Liverpool game at home was it? That was my first game too, and when I started supporting Rangers. We're almost exactly the same age too. You're not a split personality of mine are you?
That's exactly the game My best mate was a Liverpool fan so beating them that saturday is what really kicked it off for me. Fantastic match by the way It was a tradition in Norway with live games at four o'clock (three o'clock BST) dating back since 1969. http://no.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tippekampen Nice coincidence Dan
