minding my own business like u do walking through streets of london -feel like a song comming on,when low and be hold the sodding queen decides to pay a visit to the guildhall,30 police officers ,3 blacked out landrovers ared snipers on the roof tops and 10 police in the main area.It was quite funny when i got their must have been about 50 or so protesters with royals out banners.Im just puzzled why so many police officers protecting the queen ?a police officers salary is around 25k so if have 30 of them thats going to the tax payer around 100k by my maths!.its a complete waste of money in my view ,why dont they just have her security team in place instead of the city police and when the old bag did turn up did she smile feck did she!
She's a lovely old Lady. She popped over here last year and went down a bomb. Funny thing is she never went to the north of Ireland. *scratches head in bewilderment*

Is it a waste of tax payers money? Considering tax is collected by the Queen (HMRC), we are giving her our money, so really, she can spend it on what she likes. Our fault for just handing over our money really, so we... Well, you have nothing to complain about.

Imagine the outcry if she were stabbed by a juvenile delinquent, and it could have been avoided had there been an extra officer on the scene. You can never have to much security, especially when you are a frail old woman and so many people have an agenda against you.
but surely thats the queens security before hand keep the queen safe you dont need around 100 or so officers in yellow outfits shes in her rolls right up to the gate anyway
