i think the time as come to drop scotty,it was like playing with 10 men yesterday DG10 can take our pens. rant over
I'v said this for a while, but looking back, I think I was wrong. Had Scotty not been playing V Chelsea, we would have lost, how hard would the be to take in considering it was hard enough to take the draw? Whilst we can all see he isn't anywhere near his best, is dropping him the answer?
Correct. He's not been great this season and do I detect a lack of confidence in open play from him? Should have gone for goal yesterday and would have done so last season but crossed it to Graham who was dispossessed by a brilliant last ditch tackle. Thing is he is definitely one of our potential match winners on his day. Can we afford to drop him? Maybe a spell on the bench would do him good I don't know, but I wouldn't do more than that. Rest assured most opposing managers would be relieved to see him not on the team sheet.
I was saying it a while back but then he hit some form. Seemed to disprove what I was saying, but I think he knows he's not irreplaceable now, which is important.
Agree- there is no doubt its been a big step up for sinclair, he hasnt adapted as well as Dyer but his game is perhaps more limited than Nathans, in the premier league there is plenty of pace so thats not such a big weapon, dyer has a bit more in his locker and has been able to use his skills better, i think they have scored the same amount of goals from open play though, maybe Dyer has scored more actually?
I think a spell on the bench is well in order, for Scott, it would give him the focus he's missing currently, not really made an impression on the Premiership, let's hope he has a run of form soon, because he does disappear in games, these days!........... please log in to view this image
with having 19 midfielders atm maybe it is time to give him a rest, didnt think much of the chelski loanee tho, time will tell
Thing is that when he can turn it on he will create something and possibly be the match winner and that sort of thing can't afford to be dropped! But Routledge is awesome and has some fantastic skill so if he is dropped for a few games at least the back up is real quality. I think Sinclair is a top guy and a top player though! He has gained us a few points this season and was instrumental in our Promotion last season so let's not forgot what he's capable of! He might be so knackered now that Helen Flanagan has moved in with him that he has no energy left for the games
Im thinking the same thing, she is well stacked and it would be difficult not to allocate some quality time to those puppies
Hefty pair of jugs there, he could well be losing his sight, Rodgers needs to rescue the boy before it's too late!...................
he made a big mistake saturday when played in unmarked in the box(first half), so low on confidence he tried to tie up danny instead of shooting himself.
Trouble is, he seems to have left his shooting boots elsewhere this season. Most of the shots he took last season hit the target, but now, they end up anywhere between rows E and Z, number 1 - 300.
The difference between Dyer and Sinclair is growing wider in terms of .... creativity around the box, ability to take defenders on and go past them, ability to drop off defenders and pick the ball up deeper and move it forward, ability to work combinations with other players, defensively. Sinclair has scored more goals but the surplus are all penalties - take those away and Dyer is our second leading scorer. Taking Dyer off against Norwih did not do us any favors. Baring injury he is one of the last players I would substitute.
I don't mind the new Sinclair , he 's actually passing & defending these days , something he wasn't doing before .
maybe swop sides dyer & sincs now n then to cause confusion to other team who must be less worried about sincs nowadays . dyer was getting kicked about a lot maybe rogers decided not enough ref protection for our in form players so saved him ?
