Just forget it and move on man, it doesn't matter anymore.

You have savings to keep you going - just find another job and work your way up from that. I take it you're young, don't stress about it, you got plenty time to find a career. This was just a stop gap to make some dough.

And yeah, I think they're gonna crack down on non-football related threads so you may want to ease up or the mods will do you in! ha

It is pretty much impossible to get a bad reference, most places only ask previous employers how long you were there and reason for leaving (i.e. redundancy, dismissal, resignation etc) which you will have specified in an application form anyway.

    P.S. no one cares.

Tash why don't you try posting on the General Chat board?.
You'd probably get less abuse thrown at you and would keep the Newcastle board for footy talk, player transfers and formation pornography.

I would have thought limbo dancers would have to under-perform if they were to be any good.

i believe its actually illegal to give a bad reference, all they can do is not give you one, ive been told this by a few people, perhaps comes under defamation of character laws, correct me if im wrong, i know it sounds kinds strange, but also kinda like the sort of stuff that happens with employment law.

anyway Tash, as per your other post ive been on JSA for 3 months now having graduated in a public sector related masters and been screwed over by the current incumbents at number 10 and this new white paper on the NHS. dont feel bad, take what you can get, youve paid your tax, and you are a job seeker, the clue is in the title.

Get off this site and do extra work outside hours if you're that bothered. Are you going? No, didn't think so. Get a job you want to work hard in and then do it properly.

Tash you don't need to worry. Knowone can give a negative/bad reference. They can give no reference which is classed as bad, but some companies believe it is just because they are lazy that they do not reply. Don't worry about it, the references are for things like sakced through theft or assault and things like that.

Ok Tash when I used to recruit for a company I worked for and give references we refused to give anything but dates etc as is required by the law. As previously stated it is against the law to give a negative or defamatory reference on paper. Having said that it is possible to be pretty damning by what you don't include in a reference as well, it's often what isn't written that is the most blatant way of slating someone.

On a positive note any employer would be aware that sometimes things don't work out well and once you have another job it's usually only the most recent reference that matters so one bad experience, and we've all had them, doesn't really matter. I've actually missed employers out entirely from my CV from my student days because I know I screwed the pooch royally.

Now hopefully that helps, and I wrote it to genuinely help so please listen to the rest.

I agree with many others who are begging you to just find a mate to talk to elsewhere or another forum for your personal issues about your life. I come on here to talk, well mainly read, what people say about newcastle. I couldn't give a flying **** about the rest of the crap on here and skip straight past most of the threads that aren't about football. I only came on this one to ask you nicely to please STOP IT. It's a football forum not a sodding advice column for your benefit.
