    "I don't think it's sensitive too talk about Whitney Houston that way. Whilst people may think certain things of her , others really like her and used to look up to her for whatever reasons so it's not really right to rant against her just days after her passing away.

    Bit double standards after the whole Gary Speed saga with GC etc.

    FAO: 5-1 - Sorry I'd like to have replied but the thread was unceremoniously closed for some unknown reason. I take it this was you abusing your mod powers?

    Whilst I respect those who wish to voice only positive opinions about Whitney in light of her passing, I also think they/you need to accept if you post a thread about something, you will get ALL the different opinions on the subject. This will include those who do not see her death as any great surprise and don't really give two hoots given that she chose her way of life. Some people will find the outpouring of emotion for someone of her ilk just as offensive as those who are offended by negative comments about her.

    Double standards for who? I was not offended by the Speed stuff so its not double standards for me.

    If you weren't offended by the Speed jokes then that's good for you but people have left the ****ing forum because of it so I don't see why it is so important for you to cause controversy again by saying all this stuff and making jokes about Whitney Houston who just died a few days ago. Some people won't like it and though it doesn't offend me I think it was the right decision.

    Can we just move on?

    Not for the forst time! I don't give a flying **** about this woman because I never met her. People die the most horrible deaths everyday and get a match stick for a gravestone if their lucky.
